I am writing to tell you how pleased my wife and I are with our new Interlock aluminum roof.

As a metallurgical engineer, I am very familiar with the excellent qualities of aluminium and its advantages over other roofing materials. I did, however, have some concerns regarding appearance, how it would perform under varying weather conditions and the noise level in a heavy rain.

Thanks to your home pilot program, my wife and I were able to look at other houses similar to ours that had the roof colours we were considering. This was of great assistance in helping us visualize how our house would look so that we knew we were making the right choice. The roof looks great, even better than we had envisioned and it fits into the neighbourhood very well.

As to noise level just two nights after our roof was installed we had heavy winds and a torrential downpour and the roof was very quiet - certainly no nosier than our previous asphalt shingle roof.

Once the installation started, I took some time to watch and was very pleased with the installers' quality workmanship and professional manner. The installers knew their job and did it very well. In addition, they were very courteous and took time to answer my various questions and to explain how the different components fit together. Frankly, I was impressed with the way all the components fit together to make a nice tight package.

Buying an aluminum roof is a major investment and I am sure that other customers of yours had the same initial hesitation that my wife and I did about paying extra for an aluminium roof versus staying with a conventional asphalt roof. However, once we looked at the quality of the materials and the warranty, we knew we made the right choice. Even if we sell our house at a later date we consider our aluminium roof to be a good investment, adding thousands of dollars in value to our house.

Finally. I would like to thank you for accommodating my special request to have the roof completed while my wife (who is disabled) was away so that she would not be disturbed by the noise of the hammering, etc. Your men arrived when I was told they would be here and they finished the roof on the afternoon they said they would be finished - including all the cleanup work which was excellent.

It has been a pleasure dealing with your company and its personnel. I, therefore, have no hesitation in recommending your company and its aluminum roofing products to any consumer considering a new roof. It is a very worthwhile investment.
