The Last Roof You Will Ever Need.
Welcome to Interlock.
We specialize in beautiful metal roofing … that will protect your home for a lifetime.
So, why metal roofing?
Well … because it’s strong, and durable
…and yet lightweight.
It’s also resistant to extreme weather.
You’ll get protection from the suns heat and UV rays … heavy rain and snow, and extreme hail and wind.
OK, why else?
Well, because you’ll save on your air-conditioning costs in the summer.
We’re Energy Star and Cool Roof rated.
Meaning … Your home will be much cooler because of your new Interlock roof … it reflects UV rays of the sun away, keeping you much more comfortable inside your home on those hot summer days, and save energy and money on your air conditioning bills.
And in the winter … snow will slide right off, which means no more dangerous roof raking. If you do live in an area that gets heavy snow fall, don’t forget about snow guards.
If you’re concerned about the environment, an Interlock Roof is a “green roof”.
We make it with up-to-95% recycled material, and they are 98% recyclable … making us a very eco-friendly choice … and lets you help stop the cycle of landfill waste caused by “remove and replace” roof material such as asphalt and wood.
As well … it’s solar friendly, and is compatible with many solar panel manufacturers.
You’ll also get protection from fire.
Residential fires can spread quickly roof-to-roof from another house.
And a metal roof is naturally resistant to fire … in fact many insurance companies will often give discounts after you’ve installed a metal roof. We can even make it Class-A fire-rated if you like.
Our roofs are coated on both sides of our shingles and panels, where other metal roofing might only coat one side. That’s extra protection for your roof and home.
Do you have a house near the ocean?
Our exclusive Alunar coating along with aluminum … makes it “the metal roof” to protect your home from corrosion … from salt water air.
Because Aluminum, simply will not corrode like steel.
That’s pretty important if you live by the ocean.
Essential if you live near the ocean.
The second best reason to choose an Interlock Roof?
Our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Every roof we sell is covered by it.
And, it’s a non-prorated warranty …
…meaning, if you ever need it, it’s value will not decrease over time.
You are covered for any warranty issues the entire time you own your home.
And it’s also one-time transferable if you ever sell your home … and the next owner gets 50 years of protection. Make sure to fill out the paperwork and transfer it to the next owner.
If your roof has deteriorated and you see cracking, curling or rotting shingles … you should re-roof as soon as possible.
It’s better to re-roof early than one day too late. Many people wait until they see a leak, but waiting will cause expensive damage and repairs that could have easily been prevented.
Also, putting a new roof on is time-consuming, messy, and well let’s face it … pricey.
So…when you are looking at prices … asphalt, cedar, or other traditional roofs, they may cost you less the first time you re-roof … but what about the next time, and the time after that?
Are you planning to stay in your home for a while?
Because, those other traditional roofs … will not last.
And, you will end up spending money again and again on roofing that can curl, crack, rot, and split in a short time after it’s been installed.
We’ve seen some asphalt roofs last as little as 8 years.
A lot of our customers are telling us that 10-12 years is when they need to look at re-roofing again.
It is just a matter of “when” those other roofs will need to be replaced.
So, if you are planning on staying in your home, you need to multiply that “lower cost” roof by 2 or even 3 times.
That’s why they call it “remove and replace” roofing.
Are you planning to stay in your home for a while?
Then you’ll need to multiply that “lower cost” roof by 2 or 3 times. Because traditional materials will not last.
And if you think about it, those material … and labour costs will only go up with inflation.
Don’t “rent” a roof.
Get a roof that will last you a lifetime.
Stop with the “remove and replace” roofing.
Make an Interlock roof, the last roof you put on your home.
And be done with the time-consuming mess, hassles and worries about your roof failing, and the worries of when a leak might start.
So why choose an Interlock roof?
Well, as well as protecting and improving your home, you’re actually making an investment in your home, while making make your home more beautiful.
It’s strong, durable and very lightweight.
Important if you live in an earthquake zone.
It’s extremely weather resistant. Our roofs are tested and rated by independent agencies for extreme hail and wind.
You’ll save on energy costs, and make your home cooler inside … during the summer.
And, no more raking snow off your roof in the winter.
You’ll get natural protection from fires starting on your roof … with a Class A fire rating available.
You’ll be eligible for homeowner insurance discounts. Many insurance companies will offer you savings for having a metal roof.
A protective coating on both sides of your new roof.
And of course, our Lifetime Limited Warranty.
And finally … the best reason to choose an Interlock roof … you won’t have to do it ever again.
It’s the last time you need to re-roof.
Finally, the best reason of all to choose an Interlock roof … you won’t have to do it ever again. It will be the last roof you put on your home.

What Our Customers Have to Say
Last Updated on
Aluminum vs. Steel
Your aluminum roof will not rust like steel
The Interlock Metal Roofing System is perfect for coastal climates where salt water erosion is a reoccurring issue with common roofing materials such as steel, asphalt, and wood shingle roofs.

Is it noisy when it rains?
No. The aluminum panel forming process provides not only strength but also reduces any potential noise transfer when coupled with high-density standard attic insulation.
Mark and Nancy S. / Batavia, IL
Will it make our home hot in the summer?
No. Unlike concrete tile or asphalt shingle, which store and transfer heat, metal absorbs and dissipates heat quickly. Airflow under the roof helps prevent the transfer of cold air and reduces freeze thaw cycles in the winter. Results include lower air conditioning and heating costs for your home.
Will hail damage my Interlock Roof?
Excessively large hail can damage almost anything, but Interlock Roofs have a UL 2218 Class 4-hail resistance rating, the highest rating available. In some states, the class 4 rating entitles homeowners to as much as a 35% reduction on homeowners insurance.
What about fire?
Naturally Resistant to Fire, with Class A Rating available.
What can I expect of my Interlock Roof during high winds?
Interlock Metal Roofing Systems are tested and will resist wind speeds of up to one hundred and twenty (120) mph (193kph) .
How does my Interlock Roof rate on earthquake safety?
Interlock Roof panels are lightweight, flexible and structurally sound, making them one of the safest, most durable roof coverings available in earthquake – prone regions. Compare this to the “the top heavy affect” of 15 tons of concrete tile on your roof.
Is it safe to walk on my Interlock Roof?
While it is safe to walk on, in accordance to manufacturers’ instructions, the low-maintenance Interlock Roof almost eliminates that need. With Interlock Roofs, it is no longer necessary to replace trim and shingles that have blown off or to patch leaks in badly worn areas.
Will moss, leaves, dirt and debris damage or leave impressions on my Interlock Roof?
No. Interlock Roof’s smooth surface allows moss, leaves, dirt, and debris to wash off the roof naturally when it rains.

We’re proud to showcase the exceptional work of our installers.
Thank you to all our customers whom took part in our Marketing Stimulation Program.
Retired engineer Lloyd W. was happy to share his experience of replacing his hand-split cedar shake roof, with one of our aluminum profiles, Interlock® Shake in Aged Copper. He built his own house to very high standards and was very pleased with the quality of the materials used including the fasteners and snow-guards since they are made of the same high-quality metal that our Lifetime Roofing Systems are.
Jim chose our Interlock® Cedar Shingle in Aged Copper. He talks about moss, how his 40 year asphalt shingles didn’t last the full 40 years, and the unexpected benefits of choosing an Interlock® roof. Approaching his retirement years, Jim is so pleased he won’t have to worry about putting another roof on his home. He loves how the Aged Copper looks.
