Just a note about the roof we installed in March of 2003. The first thing that we have to say is that the roof looks wonderful; it’s the best one on the street. A neighbor two houses down the street had a new asphalt roof installed shortly after we had our Interlock Roof installed. The neighbor across the street remarked that our roof looked a lot better than the neighbor’s. We have had quite a few neighbors stop and ask about the roof and remark how good it looks. Having the chimney flashed with a solid flashing (instead of step flashing) and the ducts matching the roof really makes the roof look finished off. Also, having them put vents on the back which match the roof looks finished off, so they are not noticeable.

As far as the workmen and the quality of workmanship, we feel that it was done very professionally. We asked that they not start working until 8:00 am, and they waited until 8:30 am to start. They kept the grounds very clean even when they were stripping the roof. They hung tarps so nothing could or would damage either the house or any plants which are around the house. They were very friendly and courteous.

In closing, we are very pleased with the roof and the professionalism of the workers.

After many years of having my roof repaired or replaced, I decided to call Interlock Industries, Inc. since I had miraculously just received an advertisement in my mail. After Paul Forrer came to my house in July and explained the procedure, etc, I was ready to hire the company.

In October, the dumpster and shingles arrived. I was excited. Two men came at the end of October and have diligently worked almost everyday for two weeks. They are precise, neat, and knowledgeable. I am impressed with their work.

I can not get over the change in the appearance of my house that their work has made. People slow down and gawk, others have stopped as they walk by and have complimented me on it.

Upon looking at our roof with several consultations from local roofing companies, the consensus was that we had only one to two years left on a roof that was only nine years old. The shingles that were installed on our home were prey to the era of bad shingles that have been installed on several homes across our development. My wife and I, after several conversations, decided to ask Interlock Industries for a consultation.

We met with Mr. Gerry Matta who was very professional and upfront with us about your roofing product; moreover was very detailed about the installation process and warranties your company offered. He made the decision process to seek the services from your company a no-brainer. We decided to install a red tile roof from your many choices.

On October 12, 2004, your roofing installers showed up right on schedule. I must say that I have never seen a more professional crew in my twenty-plus years in the construction business. I was not aware that your gentlemen had a speech and hearing disability that took me for a short surprise. There were no difficulties in communications at all. I will add that these guys were the best and when I plan to add on to our home, I would like to have this crew do the roof for the future addition. The roof looks wonderful, and when the job was finished, I was never able to tell that the crew was ever here. They left our property spotless and clean.

I would like to finish with a compliment to Interlock Industries for hiring people with disabilities and that you recognize their value to your company. I will also add that your roofing system looks wonderful and has already raised eyebrows in my neighborhood. We recently had a metal shingle roof installed by Interlock Roofing from Waltham, MA. The company coordinated the delivery of materials and dumpster pick-up. The work crew treated our home and belongings with consideration and respect. I happened to come home while one gentleman cleared the furniture and plants (there were many) from the deck. He moved our tomato plants one at a time as though they were very valuable to him.

They worked very hard at our home for four days, two of which were twelve-hour days for them. This was the direct result of the work ethic of Baha, the crew chief. He was fabulous. They worked Saturday and Sunday, which happened to be Father’s Day, in the rain to finish our roof in the time frame they initially told us. He checked in with us frequently for feedback, and we developed quite a rapport. He is a master craftsman. There is no other way to describe the quality of his work. He was concerned that every shingle is the best. He hand-shaped many of them, and it shows. He improved the original plan for the placement of snow guards. The roof is extremely well done, and we are proud of it and the people who did it.

We expected our yard to be a mess when the roof was finished. There was no mess. None of our perennials were damaged, and we have several next to the house. One man used a magnet to pick up the nails on the ground from removing the old roof. Baha even had one of his men push the materials in the dumpster down so that it would look as nice as possible for the twelve hours it sat full in our yard.

Our roof is the best looking and longest lasting for miles around

We are writing to let you know how much we like our new roof. It was an adventure, to say the least. It all started on the 5th of July. They came to start to take off the old roof. Then as they started, a big swarm of BEES came out of our roof. The guys came down like firemen coming down the pole. We had to get a bee guy to take care of that problem. He said that there were about 400,000 bees in our roof. First great advantage is no more bees with this roof. After this side track, they got back to work, and because of the bee incident, they worked Saturday and Sunday. The work went along without problems the rest of the way. David and his crew did a great job. They were very polite and efficient with all aspects of what they had to deal with. From the bee problem to three layers of old shingles to remove and that had to be the hottest week of the summer. “Thanks a lot, guys.” We have had the roof on for a good three weeks, and the traffic in from of our house crawls by, in cars and on foot. If I am outside, they always ask if it is slate or tile. They are very surprised when I say it is lightweight aluminum.

We are very glad we went the root of the Interlock Roofing System. We have a white house with hunter-green shutters so we went with the hunter-green roof. It is very beautiful, and I know it will be the last roof I will have to put on this house. We may not have the biggest or best house in our neighborhood, but our roof is the best looking and longest lasting for miles around.

Only half of the roof was finished, and our neighbors had already called to say they really liked the roof. Critical: Responsiveness

Our original roof that was installed in 2011 is fine, but, like other reviewers, it has been impossible to get a quote for a roof on an addition we are planning. The contractor has tried multiple times to get a quote and was repeatedly told they would relay to request. When he got nowhere, I called and was told Jennifer, the installation coordinator, was out sick, but they would send her an email. They agreed to cc me on the email, but they never did. I just tried calling and had to leave a voice message. Does your company want more business or not?!

I am sending this letter to let you know how pleased I am with my new Interlock Roof. It has been an absolute joy doing business with a company as professional as yours has been. Your people have been extremely courteous and informative throughout the entire process.

As a retiree from the engineering field, you can only imagine my delight when researching your product I found it used a finishing method similar to that used in the space program. This process is not unknown to me and was the selling factor for using Interlock as my new roofing system. If a material can withstand the rigors of high friction heat and extreme cold, it is definitely a product that can withstand the changing weather conditions we experience here in New England.

The interlocking design of your roofing is also a plus factor. Normal roofing today is not what it was years ago when asbestos was used as the stabilizing element in roof tiles. Today’s tiles are soft and tend to buckle and lift over a period of time (my current roof lasted less than ten years). With the interlock design, I should not see any buckling or lifting of tiles. This is definitely a plus factor and a cost-efficient system when taking into account that I will not have to replace the roof again in my lifetime (considerable savings over a long period of time).

Again, I wish to express my delight in both your product and the installation of my new Interlock Roof.

Thank you so much for meeting with us to arrange the purchase of a new roof by Interlock. It’s gorgeous!

It is so comforting to know that our roof is now safe from leaks and ugliness. We had a few obvious leaks every time it rained or snowed, and that hasn’t happened since our new roof was completed. We have seen several people “looking” as they walk or drive by, and several neighbors have made comments as to how great it looks.

This was a job that we put off for years – and now we’re so glad that we have done it!

What a great crew you had – they were polite – they did the work, and they cleaned up beautifully (even better than how they found it – to our pleasure). The roof was delivered as promised – on time! The crew worked long hours to get it completed, and although we had bad weather on a few of those days – the work was completed in a week! They never interfered with our own schedule and despite the hammering which comes with any job of this nature – we just knew they were getting the work done as expeditiously as possible – working until the available light made it unsafe to continue for the day.
