This is to give you feedback on our recent Interlock roof installation. The installation, including stripping the old roofing, went very well and cleaned up was as I had expected. This is an old house with dormers, and even since I have lived here (since 1956), it has had various leak problems that were never solved with new asphalt shingle jobs.
Within a week of completion of the Interlock Roof, we had a heavy wet snowstorm and two days of wind-driven rains. Everything is dry. Also, we get lots of comments from passersby about how nice the roof looks.

I was very pleased with your workers and their completion of the job. They worked hard, putting in more than a full day of work at a time, and were very courteous. They did their job well, cleaning up after themselves.
I am very pleased with how wonderful the roof looks. We live up a big hill and my house is a raised ranch and therefore higher in the air. Now that our new Interlock Roofing system has been installed, we find the look to be extraordinary! It boasts sophistication and looks clean and elegant. This product is impressive not only by its looks but also by its clever and unique interlocking design.
Almost more important than the attractive look of our new roof, is the peace of mind we have gained with its many features. It’s a relief not to have to be concerned about losing shingles as a result of the high winds we experience regularly in our area. Also having experienced <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”ice dams” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>ice dams this past winter, it is reassuring to know that they cannot occur with the design of this product. We are impressed with its many features and in addition to the two already mentioned, the inability of the shingles to curl, being fireproof and the reflective properties are features that caught our attention. The installation of our new <a href="”>roof began four weeks after the materials have been delivered, and then took another four full weeks to complete the actual installation process. Although hampered by a couple of days of strong winds and a couple more of rain, Eric, our installer did an awesome job of handling our installation. He was very professional and personable at all times and was willing to answer and explain our questions. Eric is obviously very skilled at his profession and pays attention to detail, which contributed greatly to the outcome of our new roof.
We would recommend this roofing system to anyone wanting to improve the look and value of their home, but would also cautioned him about the lengthy installation process and the inaccurate scheduling information we received. We believe this to be an outstanding product despite these problems.

Our Interlock roof installation was completed this past week. Several days after the installation was completed we endured a period of rainy days that dumped over 5 inches of rain on our new roof.
Under this extraordinary onslaught we have seen no leaks or other problems.
The installer was Alex, his work ethics were beyond reproach and we were impressed that one man could do a large job like this in such a timely fashion. Alex cleaned up the job site thoroughly at the end of each day, which we greatly appreciated.
Your sales representative, Gerald Matta was through and professional. He gave us the information we felt we needed to make this important decision without undue sales pressure.

Several months ago we decided to have a new roof installed on our home. After comparing many different types of roofing materials, the decision was made to use the aluminum roofing system that Interlock presented to us. After several months I can say that the right decision was made. The new roof looks as great today as when it was installed. We have noticed our cooling costs in the summer as well as our heating costs in the winter have been greatly lowered. From the first day the roof was installed, numerous individuals have stopped to compliment and inquire of the roof. The one main concerns seems to be that of most that stop by to inquire of the roof – the noise level when it rains, with aluminum it must be terribly loud in the house, right? I tell them all the same thing. There can be a down pour going on outside and the only way I would know is if someone opened the door.

Last summer we purchased an Interlock roof. I would like to pass on to you some of our thoughts on the roof and the crew that installed the roof.
We were very pleased with the installation crew. They were here when they said they would be and they were very efficient in the job they did. There was no loud talking or foul language and at the end of each day they always cleaned up after themselves.
They did what we expected them to do and the job was finished on time as promised.
We are also pleased with the performance of the roof. It has done everything we were told it would do. The snow slid off the roof when it was only about three inches deep.
The ice dam problem we had has been eliminated.
And the roof withstood the big wind storm we recently had. Not only does the roof do what it is supposed to do, it also looks very nice!
So far we have been very pleased with the roof.

The roof looks wonderful; it’s the best one on the street
Just a note about the roof we installed in March of 2003. The first thing that we have to say is that the roof looks wonderful; it’s the best one on the street. A neighbor two houses down the street had a new asphalt roof installed shortly after we had our Interlock Roof installed. The neighbor across the street remarked that our roof looked a lot better than the neighbor’s. We have had quite a few neighbors stop and ask about the roof and remark how good it looks. Having the chimney flashed with a solid flashing (instead of <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Step flashing” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”8320″>step flashing) and the ducts matching the roof really makes the roof look finished off. Also, having them put vents on the back which match the roof looks finished off, so they are not noticeable.
As far as the workmen and the quality of workmanship, we feel that it was done very professionally. We asked that they not start working until 8:00 am, and they waited until 8:30 am to start. They kept the grounds very clean even when they were stripping the roof. They hung tarps so nothing could or would damage either the house or any plants which are around the house. They were very friendly and courteous.
In closing, we are very pleased with the roof and the professionalism of the workers.

We have already seen the benefits of the INTERLOCK system with all of the snow that has fallen in recent weeks. As described in your marketing materials: it just slides right off.
This new roof has put our concerns about water damage to rest since we invested a considerable amount to have five rooms of our home renovated in August-September 2002. I just wanted to take a moment to commend Interlock on a great product and thank you personally for your follow through after installation. I am pleased with the roof overall because it’s good looking and works well. I get compliments about the new roof frequently. The description you provided of what to expect from beginning to end and what was delivered was consistent. This is such a simple thing to do but a surprising number of companies simply don’t execute on their promises so I was pleased with the end result Interlock provided.
The crew that removed my old roof and installed the new one was courteous and professional. They did a good job of cleaning up the job site each day and obviously take pride in their work.
The only thing I would say was a drawback is that I had filled out the customer satisfaction survey before the dumpster was removed from my front yard. After the dumpster was removed I discovered two long indentations on my front lawn over a foot deep caused by the weight of the fully loaded dumpster. When I called you about it, you said you would correct it and now it has been corrected. This sort of customer service is what really separates companies that are in it for the long haul. I appreciate your follow up and the fact that you were able to correct the only item where I was not completely satisfied.
I recommend Interlock to anyone considering a roof replacement based on the merits of the product alone. I had done a good amount of research in Consumer Reports on the longevity of <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”15 Most Popular Roof Types and Their Characteristics” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”5429″>different roof types as you know so there was no question in my mind that I wanted a metal roof but I didn’t know how nice the end result would turn out. Interlock Industries installed a new roof on my house this summer. It looks beautiful and I have had very positive comments from my neighbors. It has not been on long enough to be able to give you a well-rounded evaluation of its performance through a cold winter or a hot summer. I have had no problems so far. The snow breaks you installed worked very well over the warm spell we had this fall. It held the snow back over the walkway while snow slid off the other parts of the roof.
As you promised, the roofers were pleasant and did a fine job. The roof on my house is small but with a complicated roof line necessitating a lot of cutting and fitting. The roofers cleaned up after themselves very well considering the amount of cutting and fitting they had to do. I would recommend, however, that homeowners double-check for roofing scraps if they have pets or small children running around in the yard. I found several sharp metal cuttings in my planters this fall.
Finally, I will close with the only bad experience I had. At Interlocks request, I stored the roofing to be used for my installation. One evening I discovered that someone had torn into the roofing and taken several boxes. I felt responsible and called the police. When I called Interlock the next morning to report the theft, I was told that the roofers had taken the boxes because of a shortage at another job. Unfortunately, no one called or left a note telling us. I hope this will be corrected so other people will not have this experience.

I just wanted to write this note to thank you for our new roof. When we first bought this house 3 years ago we knew that we would need a new roof soon. When we got in touch with Interlock Industries our roofing problems were solved. We were tired of going up on the roof year after year trying to repair the old shingles. After every storm shingles would blow off and end up scattered all over the yard. Now our troubles are over for LIFE! The high cost is worth not having to go up there and try to make repairs that would just blow away with the next high winds, I also love the fact that the snow just falls right oft’ with out any effort from, us having to push it off. I was a little worried about the rain. and how loud it would be but I haven’t been able to notice any big difference in sound at all.
I wanted to thank the crew that installed the roof as well. They did a great job and they were very personable people that knew what they were doing. The job was done in a very timely manner. I was actually shocked at how soon toe product was delivered and then installed.
