Standing Seam

Mechanical-Lock Standing Seam

Weather-Tight Design with Hidden Fasteners

The Interlock® Standing Seam Roofing System is a fully interlocking roof system. Its unique design mechanical-lock design forms a weather-tight unit, and unlike some other types of panel metal roofs, no rivets or screws are exposed on the surface of the panels.

It may be installed on new construction or applied over existing roofs. All trims and caps are designed to ensure an integrated weather-proof roof.

Interlock Standing Seam is composed of panels, which can be manufactured to any predetermined length. The panels are coated with the Alunar® Coating System embedded with Teflon™ Surface Protector to provide an extremely durable and attractive surface.

The panels are roll formed with a ribbed contour to give added strength. A uniquely designed ridge on each panel provides a secure system of interlocking the panels together.

Interlock Standing Seam weights considerably less than most other types of roofing systems. No special preparation is needed, resulting in less structural cost.

The last roof you will ever need.

Standing seam.

The classic look of metal roofing.

Standing Seam is what comes to mind for many when they think of metal roofing.

It has a very clean look, with dramatic shadow lines from its long panels, and the fact that there are no exposed fasteners or screws on the surface. Many people love this look and are starting to ask for this on their home.

Besides a really great look, standing seam gives you excellent protection from weather, because the long panels reduce exposure points, and because any fasteners or screws are tucked away and hidden.

After the panels are interlocked, our standing seam is then mechanically locked for additional protection from water or moisture getting in between the panels and then through to your home.

If you’re comparing to other metal standing seam providers, here’s a couple of things to remember that make a difference comparing an Interlock roof, to theirs.

For one, besides our mechanical lock … it’s our coating.

Where others may only coat one side, our protective coating goes on both sides of the panels.

Our panels are coated then formed, making sure that any edges or folds of the metal are not exposed, but are protected by the coating. And all of the fasteners are hidden.

Another difference? Aluminum.

Strong, lightweight and very durable. It’s what most airplanes are made of … so it better be strong.

And it is.

Aluminum, along with our coating system, makes our standing seam, “the metal roof” for the coast.

Saltwaterair can corrode other metal roofing, but ours will have the maximum protection from it. Pretty important if you live near the ocean.

Another reason, our flashing and trim.

Our starters are folded and locked.

Our fasteners go on the side, not the top.

And pieces things like ridge caps are actually two pieces for maximum protection.

We are confident that once you compare, you’ll see the difference in the quality of our trim, because they’re made from the same high quality aluminum … and also have our excellent Alunar coating.

And the 2nd best reason to choose our standing seam?

Our Lifetime Limited Warranty.

It’s non-prorated, meaning it will not decrease in value at all.

It’s transferable. If you ever sell your home, the next owner will get 50 years of protection.

Finally, here’s the best reason to choose an Interlock Standing Seam roof.

You’ll Never Re-Roof Again.

Choose Interlock, and this will be the last mess, time-consuming roof you’ll need to worry about. You’ll have a, beautiful, and very strong Standing Seam roof that is warrantied for your lifetime.

The ceramic pigments in our exclusive Alunar® Coating System embedded with Teflon™ Surface Protector help reflect and emit the sun’s Ultraviolet rays. On a sunny day, these UV rays typically penetrate traditional roofing materials and greatly increase the temperature of your homes attic space resulting in higher cooling costs. Metal roofs can conserve energy by reducing cooling costs up to 25%*.

• Reflects solar energy
• Emits solar heat from buildings
• Reduces building cooling expenses
• Mitigates Urban Heat Island Effect

Aluminum made from recycling takes only 8% of the energy to produce rather than using new aluminum.  We use 95% recycled aluminum to make our roofs.

Specification Manual

It doesn’t make sense to keep putting things on your house that you have to tear off and throw away 20 years later.

You know, I would rather spend more money on something that is going to last forever.
