The Best Metal Roof for Coastal Climates
If you live close to the salt water, Interlock® Roofing will give you peace of mind from a rusting roof
If you are fortunate enough to have a home that allows you to sit on your seaside patio and enjoy the sun, and relax to the sound of the ocean, if you don’t have the right roof, that enjoyment could eventually lead to a headache when it comes to your seaside abode. The combination of salty air and humidity can be corrosive and damaging to the wrong type of metal. Because of this, many metal roofing systems are unfit for installation close to salt water, and companies will refuse to warranty their products if they are installed along the seaside.
Aluminum does not rust like steel
Unlike most of these other metal roofing products, Interlock’s roofing products are made of aluminum, which does not rust. In addition to this, it has an invisible shield, protecting it from the sometimes harsh climate along the coast. It is coated with Teflon, which is rust resistant and helps your roof retain its original beauty for years.
Unlike many of our competitors, our product is coated on both sides, providing double the rust resistance. We back our installations by offering a warranty for homes installed within 100ft (30m) of the ocean. Any closer and you could practically cast a fishing line from your window.

What Our Customers Say
We recently needed our old asphalt shingle roof replaced as it was damaged and leaking from recent storm damage. Reviewing our options, we decided on metal since we live on the beach. After looking at the different metal roofs available and looking at online reviews we decided on Interlock. We were not disappointed.
The process was quick and the timeline discussed initially at purchase was met. The company kept us informed during the entire process. Our roof had an additional issue not seen with most roof replacements, it was covered with solar panels. Interlock coordinated the removal and then the reinstallation with our solar installer. The panels needed removing and then the mounting brackets needed to be reinstalled so as to keep the warranty in force; all went well.
I was out of town while some of the roofing was being done, when I returned the roof was completed and all that was needed was the final inspection. I was surprised by the look of the final product, while I had seen pictures the actual product looked much better. The roof looks like “slate” tile, it does not look “metal”. We had comments on the roof by neighbors during and after installation and people at work have asked for more information. I highly recommend Interlock Metal Roof to anyone needing a new roof.
Keep your family and home safe and beautiful, invest in an Interlock Roof.
