We thank you for providing such a quality product and installation which we look to receive years of permanent protection from the elements.  The installation process went very well with a very professional and courteous crew of installers.  Having dealt with a number of home improvements, including a kitchen and bathroom remodel, we appreciate the level of service the crew provided, especially providing very good communication with us.

If you need further follow up, please feel free to <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Seattle Metal Roofing Review 🇺🇸 — May 10, 2025 | Interlock®” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”27638″>contact us.  Already we have had a number of people in the neighborhood stop when we are in the yard to inquire about the roof.  We are in a high-pedestrian traffic area, given the proximity of the business district, schools, transit, and other services. Based on our first impressions, we have told them we are pleased with how well the installation went and foresee the benefit of this roof for us.

Hopefully, our reference will guide people to inquire directly with your company.

Sincerely,
Patrick

To Interlock Roofing:

We just had our house installed with a new metal roof from Interlock Roofing, and I was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience.  That is a tall order in this day and age if you have had any dealings with contractors.  The entire staff was excellent, from the first contact with Mike and Ross, who were very patient with my wife and me as we tried to pick out a color and type of roof from so many different choices.  I appreciated their gentleness and show of concern for the decision.  These two are a great team and have a lot of experience to bring to us.

The installers were excellent as well, and we asked questions of them and they took the time to answer all of our concerns with kindness and showed they were very experienced in installing roofs.  The interesting thing was ALL of the debris around the house that accumulates with a new roof, tiny pieces, large pieces, all were taken care of in the cleanup at the end and the area was spotless!  I even looked for any piece left behind, but there was none!

The end result is a beautiful roof that my wife and I are both impressed with, making our house look so nice – like brand new!  We are amazed.

Thank you all for a wonderful experience, and we look forward to a roof that will last 50 plus years, which by the way is longer than I plan on being around!  Thanks too, for being such a great group of people to work with, providing a very pleasant experience.

Sincerely,
Lyn J.

Oregon Roof Reviews

February 14, 2016

We first learned about Interlock Roofing when researching roofing options on the internet. We became interested in a metal roof due to our constant problems with moss and fir needles. We went to the September 2015 <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Central Washington Home and Garden Show 2024″ data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”6175″>Home and Garden Show to learn more. Interlock had a great display at the show and the representative cleared up some questions we had. We scheduled an appointment and within a week Ross and Mike came out and explained their product to us. They brought samples of the different styles and <a class="wpil_keyword_link" title="colors" href="” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>colors of their materials and thoroughly explained how their system worked. They even brought a collection of pictures from previous houses so we could decide the best look for our house. As they were measuring the roof, we watched a video on their company and all of the materials and guarantees they provide. We were impressed by their knowledge and experience.

The installation only took about three days. Vladimir and Greg, our installers, were very friendly and worked diligently. They took the time to explain what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. Their craftsmanship really shows on the finished roof! We were extremely impressed when they were waiting on one piece of flashing to be in stock and Vladimir drove all the way from <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Seattle” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>Seattle to install the finishing piece. We can tell they take pride in the work.

We ended up with a beautiful roof and several people have stopped to ask about our roof. We had received many compliments on how the style complements our <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Victoria Fall Home Show 2025″ data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”27646″>home. Now that we have lived with it for a few months, we are not disappointed with our choice. It looks great, there is no moss, and the fir needles rinse off with the rain. It is quiet even in the worst rain storm and best of all, it will be the last roof that this house will ever need. We will likely save energy costs this summer and will greatly reduce, or eliminate altogether, ever having to go on the roof again.

We highly recommend <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Alberta” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”6174″>Interlock Roofing to anyone looking for a forever roof that looks great. All of the people that we dealt with were very knowledgeable and informative. They were easy to talk to and there was never a high-pressure sales pitch. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or talk to anyone about our very good experience.

Sincerely,
Curt and Ann C.

Makes our farmhouse and garage look fabulous

Oregon Roof Reviews

July 14, 2015

Our home was recently the lucky recipient of a new aluminum shingle roof by Interlock. We are sure that if our house could, it would be singing! So, my husband I and will gladly speak for it.

We cannot say enough good things about the quality of our new <a href="”>roof material and installation.
From the first visit with the sales team (thank you Mike and Ross) we were impressed with the professional and trustworthy service of Interlock representatives.

The whole job took place right on schedule with lots of communication all along the way. The installation crew (thank you Peter!) was hard working, intent on making sure every detail was done to perfection, considerate of our landscaping and a pleasure to have on our property.

The finished product: WOW! We love it! This new Interlock roof not only makes our farmhouse and garage look fabulous, in addition, we are so happy to know we will never scrape moss again, not to mention that we will probably never even replace our roof again!

The color and style of the shingles are so pretty and we know our home is protected from the elements like never before.

We won’t hesitate to recommend <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Evaluation” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”10073″>Interlock Roofing whenever we have an opportunity. This company has developed a product that really measures up to everything it advertises.

Thank you, everyone at Interlock. We loved doing business with you!

One hundred-year-old house

Oregon City, Oregon

Oregon Roof Reviews

We would like to thank Interlock Roofing for the excellent product and service we received when replacing our roof.

We began work on our one-hundred-year-old house many years ago and thought that we had always hired competent contractors to complete work that we did not do ourselves. However, when replacing the original tongue and groove eaves last summer we discovered that our seventeen-year-old composition roof was failing due to poor installation. A relatively small project became a much larger undertaking. Since we live in an area where we have a stand of trees behind us and considerable shade, moss has always been a concern. In an effort to avoid any more issues with a roof, I began researching various alternatives.

Then I found <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Portland, OR” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”7129″>Interlock Roofing! I learned more about roofing in a short amount of time than I had to talk with several other suppliers. All my questions were answered and my concerns addressed. Communication between the sales department and the installation department was top notch. The crew arrived when scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. After we considered the job complete, we discovered a small problem. That too was addressed quickly and without question. If we were to need another roof we would hire <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Why Proper Roof Installation is Crucial for Your Home” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”11519″>Interlock Roofing again. But the excellent <a class="wpil_keyword_link" title="warranty" href="” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked”>warranty makes that an improbability.

We heartily recommend <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Quality Roof Materials” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”8092″>Interlock Roofing to anyone.

If you’re thinking about a metal roof, give Interlock a serious thought

<a href="”>Beaverton, Oregon

<a role="button" href="”>
Oregon Roof Reviews

We had already decided on a metal roof when we came across Interlock. It was one of those things where we were looking for a product with a quality standard that could match up to what we wanted.

I’ll say this, Interlock works a bit differently from most of the roofing people we talked to. You’re going to talk to a sales person at your home visit, but don’t let that put you off. They’re knowledgeable and if you haven’t done your research, there will be some great information in the whole thing that’s really worth soaking up. Anyway, we were satisfied with the quality of the product in hand and decided to go ahead and go with Interlock.

The install was delayed by a week due to some shipping issues, but that was really the beginning and end of the troubles. The Interlock folks let me know what was going on and when they’d have it sorted. All fine by me. It’s a <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Can I finance my Interlock Lifetime Roofing System?” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”25339″>lifetime roof, I’m not too upset if it takes an extra week to put it on. As I understand it, mine was a bit of a one-off problem anyway.

The roofers were professional, quick, and thorough. Great people who worked quickly, cleanly, and the cleanup at the end of the day was nigh on amazing. Apparently the shipping issues on my initial order led to the final install of a very few pieces being delayed a few days, but before I knew it they were back out and finishing the job. Along they way they kept me updated on anything I needed to know.

The finished product is the real question, I guess. And man, let me tell you. We’re more than happy with how it looks on the house. It’s especially crazy knowing that something that looks that good is going to last. You see standing-seam <a href="”>metal roofs all over and even with these you sort of wonder how “metal” the Interlock system is going to look. It looks great. Seriously, even right in the driveway it’s hard to tell it’s not either a <a href="”>slate or colored shingle roof. It’s really beautiful and it’s going to be there without the need for constant maintenance for a long, long time. That really makes the cost worth it.

If you’re thinking about a <a href="”>metal roof, give Interlock a serious thought. The sticker price might make you jump a little in some areas than others, but now that it’s on the house I am happy we decided to go that way. It’s beautiful, it’s going to last a good long time, and there’s a certain confidence I get from knowing I’ll be dealing with the people who make it if there’s a problem.

Sincerely,
Randall & Ava F.

There is no more noise than there was with my old shingle roof

Oregon Roof Reviews

Please consider this my letter of testimony regarding the installation of my beautiful Musket Grey Slate roof!

From the beginning of this “roof project”, all of my conversations with Meg and Claudette were friendly and my questions were answered by these pleasant and knowledgeable ladies. Since I had already seen a presentation with a neighbor, Mike Rasmussen was able to save us both some time as I was very ready to get my leaky roof replaced! He thoroughly explained how the aluminum fits together and assured me the trained installers really did know what they were doing!

Rolland called to let me know when he would be delivering the materials. He was right on time – even with <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Quality Roof Materials” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”27648″>snow and icy roads to contend with! He very neatly placed boxed materials next to the garage and then covered everything with a tarp to keep it dry. I was concerned with his and the installers’ safety during those unusual winter weather conditions but both Rolland and Peter seemed to take it in stride. Peter was very efficient and explained how things worked and answered my questions that I didn’t know I had until I watched how fast yet carefully he worked. Mike was right – Peter was quick and there was very little wasted material when he had completed everything! As it turned out, Peter was the only installer and he wasted NO TIME removing the chimney, getting my skylight replaced and the roof was done in only two days!! It was unusually COLD in Oregon those days; January 7th and 8th. He worked well into the dark evening hours on both nights, which I thought was above and beyond the call of duty. He carefully cleaned up after himself before he left.

As you see, I am very impressed with my new roof. At one point, I was concerned that the aluminum may be “noisy”, however, with the amount of hard rain we have had, there is no more <a href="”>noise than there was with my old shingle roof. Again, I am impressed. My son is thrilled that he will never have to get up and toss laundry soap around on the roof to kill the moss! Just today, a gentleman stopped to chat about my roof as he’d noticed the sign in my yard. I happened to be outside for a few minutes and was happy to share my very pleasant experience with him. Neighbors have stopped to look at the sign and check out the roof on their walks.

Enclosed are pictures of my “roof project”. Strangers would not know there ever was a chimney on the house. Peter was very careful removing the bricks which I appreciated since the new Leaf Guard system was recently installed. I thank you all for your help with updating my house. Please feel free to call me at 503-xxx-xxxx if you would like further comments.

Sincerely,
Iris C.

Dear Mark,

I would like to provide you some feedback on the first phase of work done on our project at the Church of the Nazarene, in Chicago Heights. Before going into the details of the work perforn1ed, I would like you to know how pleased I was putting together this project with your sale manager, John Mondschean. John’s a pleasure to work with, always prompt, courteous, and clear with feedback and follow-ups. He not only knew his product well but proved to be very helpful in overcoming the various issues of the job. John was able to meet our needs while staying within the budget by offering helpful suggestions and options. I could only hope to have such a knowledgeable, responsible person to work with on future projects.

As for the first phase of work, installing a 50 year PVC membrane roof with insulation over the existing roof, integrating metal flashings and adding badly needed ventilation to the top flat area above our sanctuary.
This job was performed by a group of tradesmen that took pride in their workmanship, Not only did they arrive at the job site on time each workday, they never left without ensuring that the work site was clean and secure, daily. For me, that was a big plus. I watched the installation and was pleased with the care utilized by the workmen. Roofing seams were straight, smooth and clean. Details cuts and welded fitting were secured around each of the skylights with care. I was pleased with your workers and their workmanship as witnessed on the job site. Mark, most of all, I’m pleased to inform you that my biggest pet peeve was adhered to without fault, Safety. Your workmen used proper fall protections with tie-offs, body harnesses, and safety lanyards. All ladders and guards were properly secured. At the completion of the job, the work area was thoroughly cleaned and all scrap materials were removed from the work site.

Thank you for a job well done. This job was a well-managed and professionally carried out. I look forward to the second phase of our project in the fall.

Four factors need to be considered

<a href="”>Schaumburg, Illinois

<a role="button" href="”>
Illinois Roof Reviews

We had replaced one roof in the time we had owned our home, and now it was time for the second replacement. I began to wonder if there were any alternatives to old asphalt technology. Also, we had two concerns about asphalt, the first is that it is not clean from an environmental standpoint and second, asphalt is oil based which means its cost is linked with the price of oil. I noticed that many commercial buildings had <a href="”>metal roofs. My wife and I usually do a lot of deep research for major home projects. We began looking into the possibility of replacing the current roof with metal. Our research indicated that there were residential metal roofs available in various metals and styles. Four factors need to be considered.

  1. Type of metal. We chose aluminum over steel. It’s lighter and less susceptible to corrosion although corrosion is not a major factor due to the various coatings and treatments applied to both metals during the manufacturing process.
  2. Structural assembly. We liked the <a class="wpil_keyword_link" href="” title=”Interlock® Metal Shake Roofing Shingles” data-wpil-keyword-link=”linked” data-wpil-monitor-id=”27734″>Interlock method of attaching the panels to each other and the roof base. When complete the system is structurally sound and waterproof.
  3. Installation process. Installing a <a href="”>metal roof requires experience. Installation is different from that of an asphalt roof. During our research, we had a hard time locating installers that had experience installing residential <a href="”>metal roofs. This was another reason that we chose Interlock. They are associated with installation crews who have the knowledge and experience required for working with the Interlock product.
  4. The only other factor to consider is the style and color, and there are many to choose from.

Installation was uneventful, the crew was courteous and they explained exactly what they were doing and answered any questions that we had. The roof looks beautiful and we have had many compliments on it since it was installed two weeks ago. We are very happy that we chose Interlock for this project and highly recommend them.
