A large percentage of landfill waste is comprised of discarded roofing materials

5/5

To Whom It May Concern:

We bought our house in 2001. At that time we knew we had about 5-7 years of life left on our composition roof.

In October of 2009, my husband and I attended the Home Show held at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and we submitted our name at the Interlock booth to get more information about metal roofs, as we had been thinking about moving in that direction to replace the roof.

About two weeks later, we met Ross Peterson. He spent about two hours educating us on roofs and all the different types of roofing materials available, how a large percentage of landfill waste is comprised of discarded roofing materials, and the range of expenses associated with the different kinds of roofs available to homeowners. He was polite, patient, and very knowledgeable.

We went into the meeting hoping that the cost of a metal roof would somehow match up with the amount of money we felt we had available to put a new roof on our house. Overall, we determined that the work being done and the length of time we could expect the roof to last would far outweigh the expense in the long run. Especially since a metal roof can last 50 years, but you can expect to put a composition roof on several times in that time-frame.

Our materials were delivered in early December and a few days later we met the work crew. They were friendly, considerate, and seemed well trained to complete the job. Unfortunately, we started having extreme weather conditions, like deep freezes one week and heavy rains the following week. Both of those situations caused the job to be delayed, both due to the safety of the crew and to keep the roof conditions as ideal as possible.

We are now almost 3 months post install and are quite happy with the end result. We are pleased with our color choice and plan to paint our house this summer with a coordinating color to complement the roof.

Thank you Interlock!

Torrential rains and winds exceeding 50 mph

Bremerton, Washington

5/5

We had the Interlock Roof installed in November of 2015 since then we have had some torrential rains and winds exceeding 50 mph.Ā  The roof has weathered the storms and is just as sound as the day the workers completed the installation.Ā  We are extremely pleased with the roof and the appearance of the roof.Ā  We are also very pleased that we chose the Interlock roof, both for the appearance and the wear ability of the product.Ā  It is a huge relief for us to know that this is the final roof we will ever have to put on our house and that the product is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Your roofing specialists that installed the roof were very professional, considerate, and thorough in their work.Ā  The property was cleaned and checked when the installation was complete.Ā  They promptly addressed any concerns we had and insured we were totally satisfied prior to completing the project.Ā  The entire crew deserves a hearty well done.

Sincerely,
Robert and Susan B.

"No Worries" in Bremerton

Bremerton, Washington

“No Worries”, may be an “in” thing to say now days, but forĀ us it is a reality for the next 50 years!Ā Ā This summer, we didn’t worry about the bottle rockets landing on our roof.Ā  This fall, we won’t worry about the shingles blowing off in the nextĀ 60 plus mile an hour wind.Ā Ā This winter weĀ won’t worry about the snow.Ā  And in the spring, we won’t worry aboutĀ the moss growing on on our roof.Ā Ā If you are thinking you want a roof like ours, no worries about the salesmanĀ pressuringĀ Ā into something you don’t want.Ā  They were very professional and nice.Ā  Everything they promised was delivered exactly as they promised.Ā Ā You will also have no worries when it comes to the installation, as they too were very professional and left the yardĀ just as they had found it.Ā No worries also when it comes toĀ our carbon footprint, asĀ our existing roof is still on our roof and not in a landfill andĀ when the day comes to replace thisĀ roof it is recyclable. They really should rename theĀ Interlock Roofing to No Worries Roofing.

It is BEAUTIFUL! We see lots of people stopping to gaze at it

We are DELIGHTED with our new roof! The day after it was completed, we had a windstorm. It was so wonderful to wake up knowing there would be no shingles in the yard or loose shingles on the roof. And it is BEAUTIFUL! We see lots of people stopping to gaze at it. Our home truly looks like a cottage now. We cannot thank you enough for the superb product and the exceptional installers. Thanks again.
