Since whole experience with the company was so disorganized and lacking of professionalism it is 100% clear that the only reason the cost of a roof through Interlock is so high is to pay for useless overhead and bureaucracy. The product is not that expensive to produce compared to asphalt shingles. Disgusting how you price gouge for extremely poor service and pointless overhead. Between my little girls and myself we have still been finding nails, self tapping screws, and razor sharp trimmings cut from the aluminium all over our yard and driveway. Just what my wife and I always wanted for where our little girls run and play! - FAIL! Goes hand in hand with brilliance of the install crew that said the clean up would be easy... they'll just use a big magnet after to pick up small debris and nails. WOW! What a good idea guys! Now if only aluminium was magnetic hey!? Even the nails used with the new roof install are aluminium. Suppose metal nails from old roof removed would pick up with a magnet, but that would require a really strong and large magnet to make it practical. Roofing crew didnt have a large or strong magnet, so makes sense why we still fing old metal nails as well. Real professional roofing crews put tarps down around their work area so clean up is quick and simple. My review of Interlock Roofing would be "You guys suck!" And it's too bad because you do have a good product that makes sense. If you would cut out all the B.S. you've got in your company and get the price down to a realistic level you'd probably find yourselves monopolising the roofing material market. Get crews working for you that can work cleanly, speak English fluently so they can properly communicate with home owners. Make sure they have the ability to install the new roof in a professionally finished manner, ours has the coating scratched off in many places and where the vented Ridge cap comes to join in to other high part of main roof they left it with huge gaps underneath because either they don't know or don't care how to join in/finish properly (like at the peak of a gable window to the main roof). Have crews that know how to tell time and be punctual to the time that they said they would be on site. Get people that can handle ordering material and ensuring all materials are on site before starting work. Our house was left with a partially finished roof for over a month after old roof was removed and took 3 times to get proper and right amount of materials here, and barely managed it at that by having to go and try to scrounge through left over material from other jobs to try to make it work. That is so epically pathetic! I found it hilarious when after this job was finally done that you guys still wanted to put your sign up at the end of our driveway as to declare"Yup, we own the gong show that this job has been!" You missed the mark there too if you're pursuing neighborhood advertising. My neighbors all noticed how disfunctional and far too long the entire job was. Putting the sign up was like offering who to avoid as they look for roofing options for their homes. Even when issues were brought to attention of Interlock they were just shrugged off like they didn't matter, or as if this is just the status quo for how interlock does business.
