For all of the obvious reasons. No. Communication. Supervision of their installation crews. Responding to issues. Quality review of installation. Lead time on delivery of materials. Notification when the crews would begin work. Time to review the job upon completion. Clean up on the job site. Attention to detail. I honestly really hate to be that guy. I really wanted to recommend their product. I really think their roofs can look great. I understand roof replacement is a dirty business, I don't expect afterwards for things to be spotless and I understand things may get lost in the lawn and bushes etc... but nails and metal laying in the middle of my driveway and filling my gutters. I also understand that they are not in the communication business but no one wants to notify a company of issues and never hear back. And no one wants to just randomly start hearing people on their roof at 7am with no notification.

I wasn't told till I heard people on the roof when the project was starting. I didn't know day to day if they were showing up until they were just up on my house. They didn't tell me how much time I had to review prior to final payment. They haven't responded to several issues I email about since. etc... etc... etc...”

“The knee braces were cut off leaving raw wood exposed on the south side and one with a large open crack on the other side. Also with the way that the flashing is I don't see how both issues won't result in water getting into the raw wood and fascia and rotting them out. Also in at least a couple of places the hardy-plank siding was damaged. Those are just the things I've noticed so far.”
