He was able to answer all of my technical questions, made several practical suggestions based on my personal situation and negotiated a price which made the transaction possible. Second, I want to acknowledge the quality of the service and workmanship that Mike Smith and James, the installation crew from Kelowna demonstrated. In spite of unsettled weather, they completed the preparation and installation quickly, cleanly and with consistent courtesy and good humor. The result is simply beautiful!

Third, I want to acknowledge the quality of the product itself. In addition to the asset benefit of a permanent improvement to my property, my capacity as an instructor in Environmental Law at the University of Northern British Columbia enables me to sensitive both to the facts of global climate change and to the effect of our standard of living on the waste stream.

Regarding the former, I live in an area of Northern British Columbia which experiences wide climatic variations, including extreme temperatures, winds, and precipitation. I am convinced that these extremes will increase in the future as a result of climate change, and I am confident that interlocking construction will withstand them. Regarding waste stream issues, I am very pleased to note that the interlocking shingles were installable over the existing asphalt shingles, keeping the latter out of the waste stream, and that unavoidable other wastes, primarily aluminum pieces, and packaging were fully recyclable.

I believe these technologies are the way of the future and are pleased to offer my full personal recommendation.

To Whom It May Concern:

I first encountered Ted Rector at the Nanaimo Home Show in 1999. I quickly made an appointment and consequently bought my first Interlock roof. We absolutely loved the roof! Not to mention the installation was first rate and the look was superb! Although I thought we would be in that home for several more years, we found a home with an ocean view that I couldn’t resist. We sold and made an excellent profit, partially due to the transferable and lifetime warranty on the roof.

Our next home needed the attention to detail immediately from Ted. Our new home in Lantzville when viewed from the road was all roof. And boy did it need a new one! We actually purchased the home knowing that it would be our first priority. But we knew the best representative and the best material for our problem.

Ted suggested the copper “tile look”. A little more expensive, but let me tell you, it was well worth it. Our home became a showpiece! And the value soared. No more unsightly tar and gravel on a low roof. No moss! No maintenance! Just pure beauty and the knowledge that we had once again gained the best on the market.

Unfortunately, what we thought would be our final home was sold when we had to move my mother-in-law in with us and needed a bigger house. However, we sold that house with a huge profit that aside from the view was mainly due to the value and warranties on the roof.

Our new home will need a new roof in the next few years and I won’t have to shop around. An Interlock roof will definitely be installed. Interlock Roofing has been in business for years and Ted knows his business like no-one else. I found the best and now you have too. I cannot recommend Ted or Interlock highly enough.

Recently my wife and I came to the conclusion that we really could not put off replacing our roof much longer and so we started researching materials and costs. During the time we were doing our research we ran across INTERLOCK representative, Brad, at the Lethbridge Home and Garden Show at which he explained the INTERLOCK ROOFING SYSTEM TO US. We were impressed with what Brad had to say and consequently, we invited him to our house to have a look at the problem and give us an idea of what it would cost to have our roof done. After talking with Brad the second time, we both decided that the advantages of this roof far outweighed the fact that it was going to cost more than an asphalt shingle roof. How do you say no to a 50-year warranty?

Well, now our new roof is on the house we both feel it was one of our better decision regarding our home. The roof looks beautiful. The entire process was very straightforward and painless. People showed up when they said they would show up, the installer was an absolute professional, Brad kept track of the entire process and there were no hidden charges. We have already had a Realtor inform us that the new roof will definitely increase the value of our house.

In short, I would strongly recommend that anyone in need of a new roof give very serious consideration to Brad and the INTERLOCK roofing system.

We moved to Coaldale in July of 2004 from Medicine Hat and knew that the roof would need to be replaced in the next year or so.

We had seen Interlock at the Home and garden show in Medicine Hat in 2003 & 2004. We also looked at two of the houses that Interlock had done in Medicine Hat. We got Brad to come to our house at our convenience to give us the whole demonstration. After comparing cost, warranty, value, weight, and looks of the Interlock compared to asphalt, and tiles, we decided on Interlock. You’re probably asking yourself, why Interlock? We liked the idea of never having to replace the roof again, the lifetime (transferable) warranty, we absolutely love the aged copper colour that we chose.

Installation took four days that is for a thousand square foot home and a double car garage. The installer was friendly and courteous. When I had to make the decision of taking the gutters off or leaving them on, he explained all the pros and cons, so I could make my decision. He cleaned up after each day was done, and at the end he hauled all the garbage to the dump.

The financing with Interlock was done without headaches. All we had to do was fax a few papers to the bank and everything was done.

Considering that the installation was done while my husband was out of town, I felt at ease during the whole process.

I would recommend Interlock to anyone with hesitation.
