From the initial contact with Interlock/Maritime Permanent Roofing through sales representative John through to the roof replacement work with Brendan and the rest of the roofing team; everyone was professional, helpful and responded to us in a very timely manner. We looked at another house in our small town that had one that was 11 years old, and it looked like it had just been done!

It sounded great, but we decided to look around and found Interlock Wasn’t cheap, but the insurance payout made it doable. We looked at another house in our small town, one that was 11 years old, and it looked like it had just been done! I decided to go for it. Everyone at the company, from salesperson to manager to the incredible roofing team, was so friendly and professional! Our place is an older home with many roof angles; the job took 17 days. We own a property close to salt water, so we were looking for a product without exposed fasteners and one that could handle the high winds. We had a couple of companies bid on the job and decided to go with Maritime Permanent Roofing. The estimator (Greg) was very personable and explained the entire process from start to finish. Original from 2012 looks identical to the new one

Positive: Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Completed a new roof on major part of my house in 2012, was undecided if i would remove the add on.... 2019 decided to complete the roof on the add on ....WOW, was able to get the same roof featuring a slate look. Original from 2012 looks identical to the new one. Both look like they are brand new... Could not be happier with this company.

Another perfect installation!

Our 3500 sq. foot roof was installed in two days and as promised, another perfect installation! These guys know what they are doing and it shows in their work . I will insist on using this particular company when our other building need to be re-roofed . We needed new roofing after only 13 years

We needed new roofing after only 13 years. Shingles were worn, and lots of small leaks after a big rain. Although the metal roofing was twice the cost of regular shingles, we decided to go the permanent route. Now when it rains we have no worries and this winter snow will not be an issue either. The 50-year warranty insures that in 15 years or so we will not have to re-roof. John the marketing consultant was great to work with, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Roof rakes; we won't need one anymore!

As we listened to the news yesterday evening, a report came on pointing out that roof rakes (used to rake snow off the roofs) are sold out, and the stores can't keep up with demand. We had to smile - we won't need one anymore! After twenty years with an asphalt roof, raking and shovelling snow off, chopping the ice built-up along the eaves and worrying about falling - the problem was solved. For the first year since we built in 1990, we haven't had to go on the roof. What a pleasure it is to stand back and watch the snow sliding off the roof, leaving bare shingles behind. Thank you, Maritime Permanent Roofing! We had our Interlock Roofing System installed by Maritime Permanent Roofing in May of 2010, and we're sorry we didn't do it years before. Every step of the process was handled very professionally, from the initial visit and estimate by the sales representative, to the installers who were so good at what they do (including explaining each step of the process, answering all our questions, and cleaning up each evening before leaving), to the calls from the project co-coordinator before, during, and after the installation, to the follow-up calls from the sales representative after the project was done. We have nothing but good things to say about each step. We have had so many positive comments on the appearance of our roof and even people stopping and asking about it. As a bonus, we found the upstairs area stayed cooler this past summer. Under certain wind conditions, our old asphalt roof would leak in the rain - again, we don't have to worry about that anymore. Yes, we could have replaced our roof with another asphalt roof for less money, but we would still be up there removing snow and chopping ice. If someone fell and perhaps ended up in a wheelchair, how do you figure out the cost of that? Feel free to give our names/phone numbers to anyone with questions about this roofing system. We are very satisfied customers.

It looks just as good now 20 years later

Rennie and I went to the home show that was held at John Brother MacDonald Stadium on May 1, 2010. We stopped by your roofing booth and started looking through your pictures, and we saw our house on display. Our house was done in Sept. 1995. It looks just as good now 20 years later. We never had an ounce of trouble. Snow just slides off and is also quite when it rains. We are very pleased with our roof. We would advise anyone to put a roof like ours. No need to worry anymore.

The new roof has addressed the concerns I have had over the years with the build-up of snow on my roof

I just wanted to follow-up with you to let you know how pleased Kathy and I are with our new roof. While we were in the market last year for a new roof we had not considered a permanent roof until we met you at the Dartmouth Market. We both appreciate the time that you took in our follow-up meeting to provide more information and to explain the product in more depth. At no time did we ever feel pressured to purchase.

The installation was excellent as they took the time to answer all of my questions and to explain the installation process. They cleaned up after each day and ensured that we were completely satisfied before signing off.

It has been several months since the installation and we have been through our first winter. As you noted when explaining the product, the new roof has addressed the concerns I have had over the years with the build-up of snow on my roof. The roof looks great and enhances the appearance of the house

We met Ted Rector at the Truro Home Show in 2009. We were in the market for a new roof. On our other homes, we had installed metal roofs and liked the thought of a final roof. Only we discovered that over the years the roofs faded or needed repainting. At our age, we wanted something that would last and be worry-free. After talking with Ted, we readily made an appointment with him to evaluate our situation. He willing spent an evening with us is our Debert home discussing the pros and cons of different roof materials. There was no rush to sign on the “dotted line”. After careful consideration, the Interlock Roof was a go. The roof looks great and enhances the appearance of the house. The workmanship is good and reliable.
