The end of the project. No one told me when the project was going to be finished. It just so happened I came home from work early that day; but, I had to leave before the workers were to finish. The on-site manager told me I had to sign off on the work and give him the check. Previously, I had been told that I would not have to sign anything or submit final payment until I had an opportunity to inspect the finished work. Big difference between what I was told would happen and what actually happened.

“My second house in Winthrop Harbor, IL also has an Interlock roof. A year or two ago, a piece of the roof came loose after a storm. I had to call four or five times before someone came out to the house. The thing is, the call center kept telling me someone would contact me to schedule a time to fix the roof. No one ever called. Instead, someone just showed up at the house. Thankfully, my brother was at the house when this person just showed up.”

“Some of the panels have flecks of orange on them. You can't notice them from the street; but, when I look out the second floor window, I can see the orange flecks on the weathered gray roof. There are a few other imperfections; but, I never called because none of the extra material was left at my house. So, there are no panels from the same "batch" and I am afraid the color would not match exactly.”
