Communication, follow up, status checks, etc. I received a confirmation of final payment about a month later and still have not received warranty documents. ( as of March 1st) Final check written on January 22. Job finished on Jan 16.We also could have benefitted from better information and consultation/education on snow guards. In February we received a lot of snow. The snow sliding off our roof on the north side and dropping onto a second story deck has really caused us some concern. It was 22" deep and had t be shoveled off. I am not sure about what to do in the future and if this is a hazard or if damage will occur to the deck structure. During the initial presentation / ordering Paul asked if we wanted snow guards, but no advice or more in-depth consideration was given pertaining to the design of our residence. We do not get a lot of snow each year, but it should be considered more carefully. We also did not care for the "buy it right now to get the best price" approach. You should drop this high pressure sales technique and your company would benefit - it can cause some trust issues with customers. Hoping to hear back about what we might consider regarding snow issues.

Communication

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“The installers were good. However we often were not sure when they were coming and very little communication about scheduling. It was quite some time after the initial arrangements, and there were other jobs that were delayed and subsequently delayed ours. There were two sales people involved in the initial phases of the project, Paul and Ross. We were initially scheduled for mid November. It was mid-December for initial roof work with additional work order necessary for tear off, sheeting and insulation. The only channel of communication most of the time was the actual work crew and they had to check with the office or others about issues. They were responsive when we had a couple of leaks during serious rain and wind that we had in the meantime. We never spoke with a project manager or company representative other than Paul when we had the leak issue - the crew lead (Igor) came out right away each time. The installation crew was great, but communication with the office or a manager was non-existent and is a serious short coming with this company. It should be clear to the customer who does what, and who they can rely on for updates and routine check-ins and project status (a project manager instead of the installers). Does anyone ever answer the phone at your office???”

Installation Crew

★★★★ Agree
“Not sure if this is the fault of the install crew (I think not) but there were insufficient materials to finish up the job (flashing) and the wrong sky lights were supplied. Both were corrected, but obviously caused delay and lost time.”

Clean & Safe

★★★★ Agree
“No safety issues and generally clean up was good. I did have to clean up periodically when they missed some things.”

Professional Completion

Problem Resolution

★★★★ Agree
“Could be better with proper project management and contact person (not the installers!!)”

Schedule

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Scheduling issues were continuous - however the weather played a big part. Most of the frustration was we were never sure when they were coming. See comments above - there should have been more communication from the office - project management. We have no issues with the crew and were very happy with them, I think the deficiencies are higher up.”
