“While the installation crew seemed organized, there was a screw up regarding the availability of the roofing material. The installation crew arrived, tore off the old roof and installed the underlayment all without knowing when the roof material would arrive. As it turns out, there was an equipment problem at the factory. Our metal roof was late and our house stood roofless for approx. 2 weeks through snow and ice making the installation process very difficult and leaving our home open to the elements and critters. That said, the installation crew worked hard once the materials arrived and was able to install the roof despite the terrible conditions. We only hope that the quality of the workmanship was not compromised by the harsh conditions and will stand the test of time.”

“As stated earlier, the weather conditions were unprecedented and working conditions harsh. In order to finally install the roof, snow had to be swept from the roof and ice had to be melted out of the gutters. Because of the delay in installation we were not at home during installation. We had previous plans which took us away from the house for a week. Since we returned and the snow melted, we have been finding all sorts of roofing debris around the yard including roofing paper and aluminum scraps, nails and screws.”
