This is the second review I have ever given. Absolutely couldn’t be happier about our new roof/skylights and the folks I dealt with during the whole process. Begins with the no pressure sales, support staff and ends with the people who did the work. Work was done in November and waited to give this review only because I wanted to see how it handled a Vermont winter and see if any issues came up. No issues, none! Not sure why, but I used a lot less oil this winter (colder and snowier winter than normal). Maybe my 30 years old skylights or something to do with the roof system? If you are on the fence about using Interlock Roofing or the Shake Shingle type of roof, my advice to you would be to get off the fence and pull the trigger!
Communications with the office could be improved. Dropping and losing nails and scraps in the snow is understandable but not picking up excess nails dropped while filling nail pouches is not okay. Also as a non smoker cigarette butts on the ground are definitely not okay.

I have two concerns/complaints about my new Interlock roof. A few places along the ridge cap appear raised - instead of being completely straight and level horizontally, there are a few places where two shingles meet in a slightly raised, A-shape. Also there are several places on the porch roof and on the roof between the garage and main house where the shingles are depressed - flattened or "crushed concavely". My guess is it's from being knelt on by the installers and I don't like how it looks. I was told the roof would be installed in October. It wasn't started until November and it wasn't finished until a week before Christmas. The installers endured terribly cold and wet weather and I'm concerned it affected the quality of the installation.
Scheduling vs. actual appearance of crew (as above) could have been communicated more clearly. It seems the project was pushed into late December causing my concern as to low temperature (zero \*F) affecting product and installation. So far though, the workmanship and function appears to be at 100%. A few major wind storms since completion had no ill effect, and the intense rain storms have resulted in no penetration into the home. (I could not say that prior to installation!)
