I would warn them about the lack of communication, and the garbage issue. The installers need to do a far better job tarping and controlling their garbage. It is not ok to throw nails, aluminum cuttings and other trash everywhere during the job and then just do a quick sweep afterwards. Installers need to be provided more complete info about the job from the sales rep. Do you really use U-haul trucks driven by slobs? Not good for your brand.
