This project used an Interlock® Slate system in Deep Charcoal on a home in Edmonton, AB, completed May 11, 2015. The project covered roughly 14 squares of roofing. They were required to remove some old shingles and threw them off the roof, damaging a number of my plants. There were ways to minimize this damage that were not considered. I am still finding pieces of shingle all over my yard, including on top of my screened in porch which I have not been able to remove. Damage was done to the screening around my porch and although this was repaired this does reduce the integrity of this area. Shortly after installation a shingle blew off my roof into my neighbor's yard. I understand that this will be repaired but it does make me question the installation.
