Don't misunderstand us, the roof is wonderful and we will continue to recommend this to a friend. If you would be able to 1) check for strapping or sheeting, 2) coordinate the start dates a bit closer 3) have the crews "run the metal broom" around the area daily and 4) ensure any gutter guards are replaced properly and vents are not covered with sheeting, 5) follow up with a telephone courtesy call well before the email survey (we wrote our concerns down on the sign off sheet but heard nothing). If those things would have been done, this would have made the whole experience much better. We love our new roof and have had comments that it looks like a "show home"! It was worth the frustration we had and look forward to many years of maintenance and trouble free performance with the Interlock product and its lifetime warranty.

“The roof is wonderful!!! However, we have "gutter guard" installed in the eve's trough. This was pulled out to facilitate the installation of the roof and was not replaced properly. We had to get up on the ladder and re-screw it back in position. The crew initially sheeted over a bathroom vent but fixed it before metal roofing installed. Our eve trough was bent, allowing water to drip out at a corner instead of making its way to the drain.”

“Okay, we have to say something here. They placed their jerry can of gas down on our lawn and killed it. Although the crew indicated they "cleaned" at the end of each day, we went around and picked up metal and nails in the yard that were a hazard to our dogs. At the end of the job, my husband went and bought a magnetic broom to sweep the yard and driveway and picked up an additional pail of nails.”

Then, between discovering that the roof needed to be sheeting and having your top foreman come two weeks later to "tell us it needed to be sheeted", it really put the job off schedule.”
