The whole experience was great, however there were a few things we feel could have been better. We dont recall getting a call from Interlock to let us know they were shipping the materials. The first we heard of the delivery was the shipping company calling looking to deliver. There were some communication issues with crew since english was not that clear. According to Colin there were supposed to be special flashings for the electical mast/vent stacks and there would be no visable screws through the face of the shakes. The crew tremclad painted up our old electrical mast flashing and used a substantial amount of sealant around the old flashing and surface screwed into the roof(Looks poor for a $60k+roof). My wife showed the crew specifically where to put the old wood shakes and the crew put 1/2 of them in a different place. The experience with Interlock was great. The crews were always on time and worked non-stop throughout the day. This is a hard quality to find in our area. The roof looks great and definitely adds curb appeal to the house. We wanted the best and feel Interlock delivered just that.
