The communication at first, prior to the project starting was poor. Finally I called Randal and things improved. Once I connected directly with Todd the communication went very well.The time estimate for doing the work was way way way underestimated....Randal suggested it would take two weeks once they started... I never believed that, but I did not think it would take as long as it did. Part of the difficulty was the weather, part of it was getting a crew out to the Sunshine Coast....so the size was very small. I understand this BUT I would have preferred knowing the difficulties up front. The bottom line, clearer communication from the start. The initial crew was lacking experience. Jas appeared to know what he was doing but his crew were clearly learning as they went. There were a lot of annoying rookie mistakes. Todd took care of these but perhaps a written set of basic rules for dummies would help new crews: don’t lean plywood up against the house without protecting the paint; don’t put nails finished railings....don’t chuck cigarette butts on the lawn, etc, etc.Once Robie was in charge these things stopped (except for the cigarette butts)... All of these things are minor, though. As a whole all workers were respectful, responsive and the end result is beautiful.
