That's exactly the point, if the work is not done according to the specifications, what are we doing. Better communication, better training. Much much better training. If this is not treated as a confidential document, well I don't have to elicit the consequences. Todd and I need to work with these two crews and get this contract back on track. There is nothing else I would like to add, just communicate, in writing I guess now. Our Engineer has asked to a copy of the the warranties. Nothing to date,

Detailed Ratings

Likely To Recommend

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“That's exactly the point, if the work is not done according to the specifications, what are we doing.”

Sales Punctuality

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Mike bid the project with a contract (CCDC) that requires both the Strata and Interlock to sign. It included the Strata's obligation to hire an Engineering firm, Sense Engineering, from North Vancouver.”

Sales Knowledge

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Mike came to site a couple of times, it was mostly Todd Jones, bringing materials and having discussions with Vlad.”

Employees Professionalism

★★★★ Agree
“Todd did the best he could in suggesting appropriate ways of tackling the wall - roof interface. We both tried to get the men to use a template for. the cut, to no avail. The result was a butchered mess. No supervision an issue.”

Communication

★★★★ Agree
“Todd did a good job explaining his work to a Heavy Civil Construction Engineer. Thank you Todd.”

Installation Crew

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“The men had a blatant disregard for the engineers comments on the right way to do the job.”

Quality Of Materials

★★★★ Agree
“Once I saw the product at your facility in the Delta, I was sold.”

Quality Of Workmanship

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Please review the 12.5 weeks of engineering reports and the approximately 80 photos of non conforming work. Greatest disappointment on the project. Numerous Deficiences on Phase One. Five leaks, bad ones some of them, and those Chimneys of last season should all be addressed again. Even Vlad agrees. Extra work was a joke. Asked numerous times for the explanation thereof. Some in writing, but never received a formal response as per the contract. Never again. Interlock must provide training for roof sign off, proper , installation of the membrane, wall - roof interface training and others.”

Clean & Safe

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Not a chance, mess every day, and damage thereof. Next season we are going to run this project like you would be proud of. Eight to Nine foot fence parallel to the drive, with a gate for access, triple tarp and tarp over the railing into the dump trailer.”

Professional Completion

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Not completed in a professional manner. Project Superintendent was on site 44% of the 73 total shifts. Many good shifts were missed early and the job was completed in less than optimal weather in October.”

Problem Resolution

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Todd tried his best, but the young men working with no supervision is contractually a breach.”

Schedule

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Initial discussions were to complete a building and then move to the next. I took the initiative along with Todd to circumvent that notion to potentially save on their pending tariffs. The job was set up by myself to enable the contractor to be always cash positive. Now who does that in this day and age. I kept my end of the bargain, but unfortunately it was not reciprocal. Make your schedule, job will be successful.”
