The first thing is that when they do the estimate they should do a thorough inspection of the roof. When they did the inspection the didn't know I didn't have something under the plywood that was needed. They gave me a lower cost and I signed the contract. Then they figured it out and I had to pay extra to have these installed. It raised the cost a lot. If I would've know this ahead of time I wouldn't have signed the contract. I was forced to pay the extra. I know estimates are hard but for something that's going to cost that much more the should do a more thorough inspection. I think the company should redo the contract to say what some extra costs might be. The second thing is that they claim during the installation they will keep things neat and clean. The cleanup wasn't careful enough. I'm okay with the mess during the installation but the last clean up should be very thorough and it wasn't Interlock doesn't do gutters and helmets. I wonder why the company doesn't do that. If Interlock had that service I would use it.

“I had a hard time getting direct calls with the office staff. I left many messages and it would take them a long time to call me back. My project was suppose to start on a Monday and no one showed up. I called the office, no one answered and I left a message. I got no response. I had to call again on Tuesday and didn't hear back until the end of Tuesday. They told me that the project was now going to start on Wednesday but they didn't give any explanation. I understand with installations things get changed because of weather or other things but communication about it is necessary.”

“They caused some property damage to the paint and the siding. They just pretended the damage wasn't there. They put some nails in the siding for some reason. This made holes and caused the paint to start to flake. I had to get my ladder and repaint it. Also, they claim they do a thorough clean up but after they left I found nails, metal, and shingles.”

“When they pealed off the shingles the nails went everywhere and on the driveway. I told them upfront the driveway should be cleaned but we still found nails. Every time we left we had to make sure the driveway had no nails on it because we kept finding them.”
