Based on the work I have had to do, the risk that walking in my yard has to my family and guest, plus the unresponsive local office.........no. Live up to what was signed in the contract. From delivery dates to yard debris. Hire honest workers....accidents do happen and when a customer (myself) asks a specific question...don't lie.Don't have the installers ask for full payment at dusk. I was asked to pay my bill and if I wanted to walk around to see the roof. It was dusk and I observed the roof and not the ground. Due to it being rather dark the only thing I made reference to on the report was that my decks needing to be cleaned once the snow melts.BTW- I have since taken care of both my decks. I sent to Paul Lechiara and Jen multiple pictures of the issues I had with my yard. I will gladly send that to someone in the home office if I am given an email address.

Detailed Ratings

Sales Punctuality

★★★★★ Strongly agree

Sales Knowledge

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Paul did a good job at going over the product, how it was installed and the guarantee. Unfortunately there was a huge disconnect between Paul and the office in Walpole. Paul quoted us 4-6 weeks (or sooner) probably right around Thanksgiving, this would give us the opportunity to take advantage of the energy tax credits for 2014. He also said the roofers lay down tarps and will leave the yard as clean as when they showed up. Sadly, I tend to believe people when they make statements. My wife and I made multiple calls to the Walpole office to ask for status on when our roof was going to be installed. Jen eventually passed me on to her supervisor Paul McCalister……the roof was started on 1/7, 9 1/2 weeks after the contract was signed and 2 days after speaking with Paul. It was completed in 2015, thus no 2014 energy tax credit and the yard is littered with nails/screws and sharp pieces of aluminum.”

Employees Professionalism

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Felt like we got the run around from the Walpole office. Were told a couple of times we were next on the list. When I spoke with Paul McCalister he said that due to weather they were running behind. Paul M said he tells the salespeople what the lead times are, which means to me that in approx 5 weeks, lead times moved out approx. 5 weeks. I did not believe his response to me and felt like he was appeasing me.”

Communication

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“Couldn't get a schedule date until weeks after our job was suppose to start. I received a phone call from Jen at the Walpole office asking if I was satisfied with the work. I informed her I was not satisfied and sent to her and Paul Lechiara pictures of what I was dissatisfied with. I heard from Paul Lechiara but didn't hear anything from the Walpole office.”

Installation Crew

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“They may have been organized but they were not professional. They broke a small birdbath in our yard which I understand accidents happen. What I am upset about is that the workers were not afraid to knock on my door and ask if I had any gas (mixed with oil) for their leaf blower (which I gave them) and to ask for money when they were completed. But they couldn't knock on the door and let me know they broke the birdbath, which they obviously knew they did based on the majority of the glass being picked up. They also were not honest with me as I asked if they cleaned the gutters and the gentlemen responded yes. Once I climbed up to look at my gutters they are filled with nails and aluminum pieces It makes me wonder what else happened that I don't know about.”

Quality Of Workmanship

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“No Our yard is a mess and I have spent many hours picking up all sorts of roofing material, nails ect from our yard, our driveway and the neighbors yard..”

Clean & Safe

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“No Our home is on the water and being barefoot is something we do all summer. I am very concerned with the amount of debris left in the yard that someone is going to get a nail or piece of aluminum in their foot. A trip to the ER is not how I want my family or guest to spend their time.”

Professional Completion

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“Not happy at all.”

Problem Resolution

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“No I didn't even hear from the Walpole office after they asked me if I was satisfied and gave me their email address to send the pictures to.”

Schedule

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“No 4-6 quoted....started 9.5 weeks after contract was signed”

Likely To Recommend
