I am very disgusted with what happen in terms of what the salesperson told me I was going to get. My neighbor has the same roof and said that he had a good job Interlock was over sold and under delivered in terms of what they promised. I think they could have improved on customer service, follow up, letting the customer know when the start dates change, and the installers should be more prideful in their work. I called back several times about when they were going to start the work. I was told by the contractor that my problems would be forward to the office but no one in the office knew about my problems. I know foresee that I will have issues down the road because it was not put on properly. I think they should do it right the first time and do exactly what they say they will do. Some of my concerns and issues are based on what I have gone through. I don't want anyone else to go through this. I feel that there might be some customers who don't speak up and will just let things slide by and that isn't right. The owner doesn't know what the people are costing his company by the lack of workmanship and quality of work and customer service. When people get this kind of service they will never use that company again. I told Jennifer that they gave me a Mercedes roof but had installers for Ikea install it. My neighbor feels bad for recommending them to me.I work at home and I am most of the time. The last day they completed the job no one told me that it was going to be the last day. I was two hours away when I got the call that it was the last day and they were done and I needed to sign paperwork. He wanted me to walk around the property to look at the work but by the time I got home the sun had already set and I couldn't see anything. I refused to sign off on the work.

“From the time the project started in the middle of November, which it was supposed to start in September. I had to call to check to see what was the delay and when they would be starting. They never called to say when they were going to start the work on my roof. They never called to say when they dumpster was coming so there were cars in the driveway and he had to try again another day. They damaged my driveway when they placed the dumpster. They never called when they were going to pick the dumpster. There was a car in the way so they had to try several more times because each time they didn't call and there was a car in the way. They have very poor communication.”

“They showed up and I had no clue they were going to start. I got a call and I was away from my home. Someone called me and to tell me they were at my home tearing off the roof. When I got home there was a lady with kids in a BMW in my driveway. I don't know who she is or why she was at my home. Sometimes there would only be 2 workers who would show up and they came all the way from Michigan to do the work. I would ask the lead why the whole crew wasn't there and he would say they just didn't get up for work today. Sometimes they used my ladder and didn't always have the equipment they needed.”

“I don't know the quality of the material because when they installed it they caused damaged to my house. They left my roof improperly covered when they left two days before Christmas and no one came back until two days after New years Day. There was very bad storms during that time and I ended up with water damage throughout my whole house because they covered the roof poorly. Only one person, manager, came back by after to check on the work and I told him what happened. He said that there was no way that happened. He made me feel like I was lying to him but I wasn't. There is water damage throughout the house. Narrao, the quality check guy, called the installers back to my home because he noticed they didn't cover the roof properly.”

“I think if people are going to work for a company they should have somebody that speaks the language of the customer so if the customer has any concerns they can tell them clearly. Every time I came to the lead installer to tell or show him something that he has done wrong he would like at me like he didn't understand me anymore even though I could have talked to him the other day and everything was fine. They broke the siding of the wood on the dormers and put it back up broken. The copper gutter hangers were not all taken down and got broken when they took the roof off. They threw them away. I asked the installer where the hangers were and he put them back up with wire. I told him that is not how my home was built and that is not how he was going to put it back together. I bought more copper hangers to fix the ones they broke on the one side of my home. They did the same thing to the other side of the house so I had to go buy another set. The salesperson Paul informed me that the roofing metal shouldn't touch another metal like copper. I had copper flashing on my house before they were installing the roof. They were supposed to take that copper flashing off before installing the new metal roof and I was outside walking my dogs when I noticed they were not doing it right. I took pictures and pointed it out to them. They pretended like they didn't know what I was talking about. They cut my chimney with they were putting the flashing on it. They told me that I needed to point the chimney. I told them that I had gotten that done a year ago and that I saw them cut into my chimney wrong. They damaged my bushes when they took the roof off. There brown streaks down the side of my home. I tried to get them to clean it up but they wouldn't The quality check guy came out before the work was completed and told them they needed to clean that up and they did. I asked the installer once he got it done how long it took him to clean it up and he said 10mins. I told him that if had just done it sooner I would ave been more happy with the work. The dormers don't like up with the roof anymore. I question the workmanship of the workers. The salesman sold me something that the workers couldn't provide in the quality. The salesperson said the trim on the house would be changed if it needed to be changed. They were nailing the drip edge to rotted or deteriorated wood. I called the lady Jennifer in the office to let her know that I was going to have a contractor come out to do it if they didn't and she said that they do it and I didn't have to have someone else come out to do it. However, the installers didn't replace any of the trim and I have had to have someone else come do it properly.”

They put a tarp over the materials but during that time there was a bad storm and I had to clean up the materials out of my yard and put them back. I don't think they covered the work properly.”

The quality guy showed up to try and get the final payment and didn't know about my letter. He didn't try to address any of my issues.”

“The quality person came out several times. The contractor came back to address the issues with the inside of the home. They tried to fix the water damage but my walls are plaster and they didn't let them dry before they painted over it. You can still see the water damage. The only thing I am satisfied with is that they told me to get my own contractor to get the inside of the work done and it was very frustrating.”
