Beautiful roof and would recommend for others looking at options for new roofing. I feel that 25% of the project cost required up front is a bit much. We signed agreement in late November and job was not done until late June of the following year (7 months). It seems like a lengthy time to have quite a bit of money tied up and something less (10-15%) would be more appropriate.

Problem Resolution

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“We had a dead valley in one area of the roof that has been a concern since we bought the house a few years back. When we inspected the roof after completion, we noticed that the crew had used a roofing membrane in that area and the area was not covered up by shingles, which was a bit of a surprise. We were told that this was the way to address the dead valley issue and that the membrane was included in the lifetime warranty covered by Interlock. The project manager said that the crew took pictures of the area, which he would forward to me, so I could see how that area was addressed. I finally received the pictures (after almost 2 weeks), and they were of little value, as they did not show how the dead valley area was addressed. I called the salesperson (Damon Isbell) and he provided some assurance that the membrane is a fairly standard way of addressing these dead valley areas, and that if there were any issues with that area, Interlock would come out an fix the issue. While I believe the area of concern will be fine, I felt that the response to the questions/concerns that I had could have been more timely and thorough.”

Schedule

★★★★ Agree
“We were given an initial time frame for when the job would be started. We received notification that the job would start earlier than we anticipated, which was fine. But the job was rescheduled several times before finally being started, which was a little frustrating because the job was for a house that we live in part time, and we were attempting to make scheduling arrangements to be at the house while the work was being done. Even with the rescheduling, the job was completed in the time frame that we were given at the time of the sale.”
