Communication was unacceptable. Day 1 I was told the crew would show up at 9 am. When they didn't arrive by 11 am, I called the scheduler to find out if the work was going to start. I had not been told the crew was driving down from Seattle. Once Damon Isbell and National Sales Manager Michael Rasmussen got by first installment payment, I never heard from them again - NEVER. Even when I sent them pictures of the sloppy work that was done and missing vents in my roof, they did not contact me. The product looks very good, but expensive. Make the salesman stop at the project while it is in progress and again once it is all over. Communication is Key and you need to improve.

Sales Punctuality

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“He showed up on time. He brought National Sales Manager Michael Rasmussen with him. Michael did 95% of the talking. Damon mentioned that he lived in Prune Hill in Camas, WA. That is less than 10 miles from our house. He never stopped by while the work was being done or after the work was completed.”

Sales Knowledge

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Sales convinced us to go with your product. I should have asked more questions.”

Communication

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“The initial project start was 9 am on a Monday. As stated above, no one showed up so I called the office at 11 am to inquire why. Crew was driving from Seattle - that would have been nice to know ahead of time. When I realized that the installation crew decided not to install 4 of the roof vents they took out, I went into my attic and took pictures of each roof vent. Since I got the. warranty e-mail from the President, I was going to send him the pictures of the vents since I never heard anything back from Damon or Michael after the project was completed. So I sent an e-mail to Damon and Michael with vent pictures, an e-mail listing my concerns and an estimate showing I had lost 56% of my attic ventilation due to poor workmanship. I received a call from Patrick on 9/5 asking me "what is going on". I asked him what he meant and if he had seen the pictures of the vents. He had been contacted my someone and said he would sent the crew back to fix the problems. He said he would call back with the schedule. I had to call back on 9/12 because I had heard nothing. I was looking for an update on the schedule to fix my vents. Patrick said the crew was coming down next week for another job. He will contact me either 9/5 or 9/6. He expected to hear back from the installation crew within an hour. Patrick called back within the hour and said they would be at my home the next day - 9/13. No one called or showed up on 9/13, 9/14, or 9/15. I sent an email to Patrick at 1150 am on 9/15 asking when the workers were going to show up - I CC Damon and Michael. Got a call from installer Chad that they are planning on showing up 9/18. Chad said they are competent and the missing was not intentional. They just missed it and made an honest mistake.”

Installation Crew

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“When your crew first arrived, I asked whom was in charge in case I had questions. Chad said they work as a team but one crew spoke broken English that was hard to understand, and one spoke no English. Chad ended up being my main contact. When your crew takes out 20 vents and prepares to install new vents, how do you forget and only install 16. No one told me they were not going to install the same number of vents I originally had. When I told Patrick I had not heard back from any installer, Patrick said the installer called me, but I didn't answer. He didn't leave a voice mail. No one followed up with an email to make sure I understood. Patrick sent me a text photo showing that Chad had called me. Doesn't show my phone number so I don't know what number he called. They decided it was easier to throw partial shingles off of the roof onto the ground. They ended up in the landscaping, the gravel driveway, and I found a full shingle inside my waterfall pond. If that would have ripped my pond liner, I would not be happy. When the crew was here on 9/18 to repair the vents, we heard something bouncing on the roof and thought someone was going to fall off since they don't use any safety equipment. It was only a power drill that slid down the roof and bounced off a glass panel on our living room deck. It left 4 marks on the glass panel but luckily did not break the panel. On 7/25, I got home around 11 am. I asked Eugene what time they started - he said 9/930. My ring camera shows them arriving to work at 1035 am and leaving for the day at 450 pm. They said they would start around 7 am to beat the heat. They usually showed up after 9 am and took a 2 hour break in the afternoon because it was hot.”

Quality Of Materials

★★★★ Agree
“So far the material look good. We have had only 2" of rain since installation so I will be interested in how it sheds water. What I am not satisfied with is that your sales person estimates how much material will be used. We agree on the price. But there are no allowances if your sales staff orders too much. If they over order, then the customer should get a refund for the material not used because your company is going to use that material on some other job. I was told the extra material would be stored in your warehouse with my name on it so that they could use it if ever needed. I find it hard to believe that the material will be around for 50 years to cover the warranty work.”

Quality Of Workmanship

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“Reference the above information concerning the quality of the roof vent problem.”

Clean & Safe

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Throwing shingles off the roof with no concern of whom might be below. No safety equipment at all. They even said one of the workers had fallen off a roof previously. I would think with such a slick product, safety harness would be required.”

Professional Completion

☆☆☆☆ Strongly disagree
“Reference the above information concerning the quality of the roof vent problem.”

Problem Resolution

★★☆☆☆ Disagree
“Why does the customer have to be one to initiate the resolution process when the salesman could have easily helped out. The problem was resolved, but I felt like I was the one leading the process rather than someone from InterLock making sure everything was OK.”

Schedule

★★★☆☆ Neutral
“Start date was correct. They said 3-4 days. Installers said 3-4 days. It took 5 days. The last day was 10 hours and ended at 740 pm.”
