The Interlock product and sales team are phenomenal. Our neighbors love the look, and I love the peace of mind of having a gorgeous metal roof. The installation was a challenge, and as a stickler for job site safety I had some material concerns during demolition. The team came together and made things right, which my family and I greatly appreciated and the finished product looks gorgeous. JOB SITE SAFETY The job site was unsafe to the point that I nearly cancelled the job. We had multiple young men with no fall protection on the ridge of our roof, for multiple days. They were doing demo and tossing pieces of roof material and plywood against our neighbor's home, our fence, and in the landscaping all around the house. They did little or nothing to protect our home, and scratched a massive picture window in the living room - just thoughtless, sloppy work. Daily cleanup. The sloppiness continued day after day, with the crews leaving tools, sharp pieces of cut and discarded metal, and their own beverage bottles and trash around our yard. It was bizarre. I run construction crews for a living, and would never allow this on any of my sites, particularly for a $45k premium roof installation. Vlad said he would go through the yard with a magnet to pick up all the metal material before he finished - he never did that and our 2.5yr old daughter still finds screws and composite in the garden. It's become a game for her. I take safety seriously. I know it is not my responsibility, but please, please find a better way to train and control for safety with on-site demo and install crews. Our roof is steep and 2.5 stories tall. A slip and fall would have been life altering, or fatal. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking about the young men up there, several of whom appeared to have little or no job site experience. It was unsafe, messy, and gave me the sense that I had paid Interlock for a super-premium product, but was not getting anything near a premium service. Why would someone cut corners like that, and who was pocketing the difference between what I paid, and what those guys were getting paid? It gave me a bad feeling about the whole operation.
