Standing Seam Shoreline, WA Review 🇺🇸 — August 8, 2018 | Interlock®

Communication was lacking leading up to the start date of the project. We were told a vague estimate for the delivery date and another vague estimate for the start date. When those dates had come without materials or a start, I tried to call the office when I wasn't myself at work (not everyone can place personal calls at their workplace), but the specific and somewhat limited office hours made it difficult to actually reach anyone at Interlock. Ultimately I had to contact the salesman because I was not receiving updated info about delivery of materials and start date to the project. I finally got a phone call that told me the materials would be there tomorrow morning. I asked when the work would start then, and he said "tomorrow morning." That meant I had to quickly find daycare for my dog who goes crazy with strangers around the property and a more accurate timeline with longer notice would be have been much better. At the completion of the project we were asked to fill out a form saying we were completely satisfied with the work. The problem with that being we weren't given time to inspect the work properly, and I wouldn't know what to be looking for anyway. I would have felt much better knowing another person from the company separate from the install crew came out to inspect the work AND also to be given extra time to look over the roof before signing off on it. If we feel unsatisfied afterwards, I now worry that form we were presented with and told to sign before them crew could leave (adding an element of time pressure) will negate our rights in negotiation or court.
