My house was built in 1930 and the estimate should have taken that into account. There was a lot of dry rot caused from 5 layers of comp I ended up having to pay some $13,000 over the estimate for my house that is only 932 square feet. The cost went from 17k to 29k needless to say that was a bit of a shock.
