Why Calgary homeowners choose Interlock
Interlock Metal Roofing (Alberta) Ltd., founded February 5, 1999, is a trusted metal roofing contractor and exclusive authorized installer of Interlock® lifetime aluminum roofing systems serving homeowners throughout Calgary and Alberta. Our Interlock Lifetime Roofing System—heavy-gauge, fire-resistant, energy-efficient “cool roof” construction protected by the Alunar® Coating System and backed by a Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty—is engineered for performance, beauty, and durability in Calgary’s climate: it sheds heavy snow and ice to reduce ice-dam risk, resists wind and hail damage common on the prairies, and stands up to wide freeze–thaw cycles and high UV exposure at Alberta elevations. We provide roof replacement and re-roofing across Calgary, offering timeless looks—slate, cedar shingles, shake, Mediterranean tile, or standing seam—with the long-term protection and energy savings of metal.

Metal Roofing Calgary, AB Review
Review: May 13, 2026Completion: May 30, 2008After a relentless 12+ hour windstorm, our 18-year-old roof needed a repair. When I called to book it, that's when I learned the previous owner and my senior parents hadn't transferred the warranty when the house was bought 13 years ago. Despite that, the owners came out the very same day and honored it! The repair itself was simple — just two screws — but high up on the roof with a sloped ground below, making it tricky and time-consuming. First time in 18 years our roof has needed work, and… Read more →

Metal Shingles Calgary, AB Review
Review: November 17, 2025Completion: October 21, 2025I'm not sure I'd recommend them to a friend because I think they're not for everyone. They're very expensive and we were told when we first bought our roof over ten years ago, it would be weather-resistant and it wasn't. I'm still kind of sitting on the fence on that. They could've improved on cleaning up and also coordinating things with our solar panels, as well.

Metal Shingles Calgary, AB Review
Review: November 13, 2025Completion: October 8, 2025Professional installers, answered questions, left site clean after every workday Final cleanup - the bin was gone the next day but a lot of nails and small debris that was under the bin was not cleaned up by the removal personel. This was my 2nd installation of metal roof (Interlock also did house 16 years ago) and I was as satisfied with the installation process and the salesperson interactions as the first time.
