I do have one concern: The top floor of our house has a roof that is more pitched, where snow slides off easily. Then the attached garage is underneath that. When the snow slides off the top part, it builds up on top of the garage. I thought that with a metal roof the snow would slide off the garage, too. It concerns me that I have fair amount of heavy snow on top of the garage. I didn't think that would happen. I wanted a metal roof so that we could get ready for going away for the winter without worrying about snow having to be shoveled off the roof. Last year, we went to Florida, and when we came back, there was so much snow that ice built up under the shingles, so that the kitchen ceiling leaked. I know that on the top part of the house the snow slides off, but the rest doesn't have that happening. The steel roof is very nice looking, but I'm concerned about the garage. We weren't really told that would be a problem, because we assumed the snow would slide right off of there. Other than that, the roof looks amazing. It's a very nice product and roof as far as steel roofs are concerned.

He clearly took pride in installing a beautiful roof, was very courteous, and went above and beyond. The fact that this was a little house, did not make any difference for Steve; he wanted it to be perfect....and it is! This was an great experience! When we need a new roof for our (shingled) business roof in two or three years, it will definitely be another Interlock roof. Beautiful, carefree product; great customer service, and old-fashioned workmanship. Highly recommend.
See above notes: it is/was the finer things like shingle pieces in the gutters, sheathing still needing trimming, one piece of side fascia looks like it may need more fasteners, and not hearing back about an inspection which would give us a chance to ask questions.

I don't know, it is hard to say because I was not here. I was happy overall and I did not have any problems. I am very happy with the workmanship, the follow up, and the final product.
I am still waiting for the work to be completed, I am still unable to open my gable windows, because the new roofing is restricting them from opening.
Our new metal roof was completed on time with very little disruption. As retired home-owners we are pleased we will never have to re-roof in our lifetime. Our new roof attracts positive comments from our neighbours and makes our old, stone house look fantastic. A great investment!!
The clean up. Our property was left with debris all over the yard and at our main entrance.. A change in weather didn't help, as snow covered the debris part way through the project; however, the crew could've cleaned up when they knew the snow was coming. Interlock sent someone to clean up the mess about 2 wks. after the project was completed, but it was a rainy da, so little was done.. He didn't have the proper tools i.e. no broom to clean up. He informed us he'd be back in 2 weeks. The debris was such an eyesore & most of it at our main entrance that we ended up cleaning up the mess ourselves. A time consuming process picking up bits of old shingles, nails, pieces of tape from the back of the old shingles & small bits of debris from the new roof all around the perimeter of our property. We also had to remove gravel from the front entrance way, as the black debris was too fine to pick out; that will need to be replaced. Poor communication at the beginning of the project resulted in extra days to complete it. The workers were not informed that the old shingles were to be removed. We pointed this out. They had 1/2 the project completed only to have to remove what they had completed to remove the old shingles & to start again. We are very disappointed in how our property was left and that clean up did not appear to be a priority.
