Had we to start over, looking for a new roof again, we would go with a high quality composite material. This was way more expensive and we won’t live long enough to make the investment worthwhile. Yes, it will increase the resale value, but I doubt it will be enough to offset the cost differential. Also, now there is no way for me to walk on this extremely steep and slippery metal roof. Cleaning the gutters on the dormers is too dangerous and I have been unable to find anyone willing to climb… Read more →
