A large part of whether or not I will recommend them will be based on whether or not my concerns about the installation are addressed in a timely manner. I have a three story home, so it is not a one story bungalow where the roof can be seen easily. They should be taking pictures of flashings and other important areas to show the owner that the work was done properly in order to inspire confidence in their work. My confidence in Interlock Roofing has been eroded. If I had not had an independent person looking at it for other reasons I would have believed that all of the work had been done correctly. The independent inspector was up there for an unrelated project and happened to see the poor quality of the roof, so they took pictures of it to show me. That completely eroded my trust in Interlock Roofing. If they could take pictures of the work that was done that would be better. I would have to climb up a ladder to lake a look at the work myself and I do not feel comfortable doing that on a three story home. They need to take pictures to confirm that everything is being done correctly and in a professional manner. That would inspire confidence in their company. I love that this was a Canadian company. I believe conceptually that it is a great product. I am personally surprised that there are concerns around the installation. I am disappointed that it has been difficult to get returned calls considering that the work was completed in April. For the caliber of the company my hope is that they take a great interest in getting customer feedback. I appreciate that they try to get feedback and I think that is important. I live in the Mount Royal area of Calgary, which is a high net worth area with million dollar plus homes. They need to recognize that, given this is a high end product, they need to take care of their customers properly and not be evasive. Calgary is a prime economic center in Canada. If Interlock Roofing's reputation is bad based on a couple of poor experiences then it will be very difficult for them to grow. I will not provide any positive feedback and would be more inclined to tell people not to use them. When people are replacing roofs on million dollar plus homes they want something that will be high quality. I was really disappointed that my home could be compromised because the roof was installed incorrectly. There could be damage to my home and that is completely unacceptable.
