I researched them on the internet and found their office, then spoke to a gentleman there. He told me that the price per square for the slate product was 800, and the price per square for the shake was 900. To have it installed would be a additional 100 on top of that, so given the approximate size of my property I was expecting 30-35000 for the job, When the sales came to my home he also approximated about 30-35000. Then I got the formal estimate it and it was 40% higher than the approximation. When I asked about bringing the estimate down to the 35000 range they said the best they could do was 40-42000 without removing the shingles. I feel a little ripped off. From my business perspective, if someone bought a bulk order then I would try to work with them more. They don't know their product and shouldn't give estimates. I would love to do business if I got a better price.
