Metal Shingles Red Deer County, AB Review 🇨🇦 — May 11, 2015 | Interlock®
Red Deer County, AB
- Crew size varied day to day so it took much longer to complete project.- Foreman did not seem to be informed of the full scope of the job; i.e. installation of additional vents.- Still removing nails from yard and we have already picked up over 12-lbs of nails.- Should be placing Tarps on ground where old shingles are being dropped, to help prevent nails being imbedded into grass. (Customers will not be too impressed with flat tires on equipment, due to nail punchers/or nails being projected from lawn mower hitting windows or customer)! (Who will be responsible for repairing tractor tire or broken windows)?- Not having correct tools to clean up area; i.e. Wheel-barrel with flat tire/magnet that was not strong enough to pick up nails/inadequate containers to store garbage. (Used one of my garbage cans and took it with them)!- Told us all the gutters were clean after we asked them twice; they were full of old shingle material and nails. (Spent half a day cleaning the eavestrough myself).- Asked them to fix one of the pipe vents flashing was not flat, now see some of the other vents are also not flat. (Job quality has failed to living up to our expectations of Interlock Roofing). - Worker fell over West side of house (thankfully he was ok), but our eavestrough is distorted and they could not fix it to our satisfaction! And looks like HELL!\* (Would like to know what Interlock Roofing is going to do to resolve the situation)? - Not too impressed with the lack of follow-up after the project was completed by the installation crew. (Thought someone would come out and review the end product with us and address are grievance’s)?- But the new roof does look very nice and we hope it will provide many years of maintenance free service.Note:- We would really appreciate having Neil Wetherell/Bruce Olynik coming out to have a look at the finshedroof and address our concerns.
