I think someone could grab the materials and do the same job. I was not too impressed. I'm glad it ended the way it did but in between, I was expecting something else. Just to get there wasn't what I was expecting. They fell short of my expectations in communication. We pulled up into our garage and materials were there. Suddenly installers are at our home. We didn't know who was coming. It would be nice to have a call saying, "we will be there in 4 days or 2 days." Communication is definitely all I wanted. I just want to hear something. I am happy with the end result, but getting there I was expecting an entirely different process. Also, it's not their own installers like they say. They are subcontractors. It doesn't matter but it was 2 guys for a whole farmhouse.

“The salesman, John, is good. The stuff we spoke about was good. Then suddenly the roofers show up and stuff was getting dropped off. No one said that was coming and other things. With the start date, they just showed up with no communication. I've been ripped around from other roofing companies and I felt the same way again. I simply asked John about "what-if" there was a particular problem. John would have to tell the office, the office to the boss, the boss to the manager, the manager to the installers. It was a big game of telephone tag. We wanted to have the top portion done as well, which is what we spoke to John about. The installers said no but John said yes. It has me thinking whether I have to record everything a salesman says to playback for the installers or explain everything to a T. They all worked independently. It was telephone tag. So at the end who knows what you will get.”
