What was involved in this Interlock® Cedar Shingle roof installation in Kanata, ON?
This project used an Interlock® Cedar Shingle system in Black on a home in Kanata, ON, completed January 6, 2016. The project covered roughly 22 squares of roofing. Roman and Adele S. rated the work 4 out of 5 in an independent survey conducted by GuildQuality on February 24, 2016. Sales Knowledge scored 4 out of 5, with the homeowner noting: “He was knowledgeable, however we now need to add more snow guards on the back end of our house.” The installation was carried out by Interlock Roofing.
Communication prior to starting. I was told of all these various people (coordinator and foreman) will be calling me but I only received a call after I inquired to the sales rep as to why nobody has called me or started my roof which was 3 weeks over due.I also wish I was informed more of the safety features (snow guards) and the importance of having them up around the house. With the sales rep knowledge and expertise I would hope that they would have noticed how close the one side of my house is to my neighbor and informed us earlier. We would have had them put on right away. Unfortunately we didn't and we're now hoping to get them added on after numerous complaints from our neighbor. We're a little disappointed that snow guards were not recommended to be put on the south side of our house, especially with the close proximity of our neighbor. The snow is continuously falling and hitting the side of his house and he continues to be concerned about his house foundation and windows. This is causing us unnecessary grief and we feel it could have been prevented by the numerous interlock staff that visited our site.
