Interlock installed an Interlock® Slate system in Black on a home in Kingston, ON, completed July 15, 2022. The project covered roughly 18 squares of roofing. Communication scored 3 out of 5, with the homeowner noting: “I found people at head office very difficult to get a hold of.” The installation was carried out by Interlock Roofing. The roof has been in place 4 years and remains under Interlock's lifetime limited warranty.
Materials and workmanship and finished product are very good. However, the scheduling and delays were absolutely terrible. From signing the contract to job completion it took almost ten months. Given installation dates were constantly pushed back. Being available to address concerns. Following through on proposed schedule. Just to reiterate that I have no problem with the sales person, the product nor the installation team. The area that needs drastic improvement, from my experience, is communication with head office and the proposed scheduling.
