I took it among myself that it would be replaced, but they just screwed down a lot of the wood that was loose. I wondered why they didn't replace the black wood, but I didn't ask. I trust that it isn't rotten because they didn't replace it and they told me it wasn't rotten. We are really very pleased with the roof. Overall, I am really very happy with it. We called multiple times seeking a list of houses we could go see an actual roof on we never received that list even though it was promised more than once. My wife finally got a hold of someone who gave us Jon Browns number. Once we got in touch with him the process was smooth. We had a hard winter and we had a lot of snow and downed branches. They need to come back and straighten that up. The rest of the roof is perfect. I just need them to come back and fix these little problems. I've been meaning to call them about it.

I have never heard anything about that one way or the other and I would like to know.
