To whom it may concern:

We recently needed our old asphalt shingle roof replaced as it was damaged and leaking from recent storm damage. Reviewing our options, we decided on metal since we live on the beach. After looking at the different metal roofs available and looking at online reviews we decided on Interlock. We were not disappointed.

The process was quick and the timeline discussed initially at purchase was met. The company kept us informed during the entire process. Our roof had an additional issue not seen with most roof replacements, it was covered with solar panels. Interlock coordinated the removal and then the reinstallation with our solar installer. The panels needed removing and then the mounting brackets needed to be reinstalled so as to keep the warranty in force; all went well.

I was out of town while some of the roofing was being done, when I returned the roof was completed and all that was needed was the final inspection. I was surprised by the look of the final product, while I had seen pictures the actual product looked much better. The roof looks like “slate” tile, it does not look “metal. We had comments on the roof by neighbors during and after installation and people at work have asked for more information. I highly recommend Interlock Metal Roof to anyone needing a new roof.

We would like to commend Interlock for your product and service. Our house is 1572 square foot ranch style home. It took two days to install the new roof. No mess no waste. The installation crew was very polite and professional. They didn’t mind me supervising (watching) or asking questions.

Interlock Roofing works as advertised. We have had a wide variety of weather in the last 50 days, heavy rain, hail, and eighty-degree temperatures. I believe that the Interlock roof system makes my Leaf Guard gutters more efficient in shedding the rain than the old asphalt shingles. We didn’t know it was hailing until we looked out the windows. My wife and I are very happy with our choice and results. The curb appeal has been enhanced and we have gotten the thumbs from our neighbors for the great look. I am happy with the performance of the roof and I have found everything touted about this roof to be true. We had a tremendous thunderstorm come through and a downpour that was second to none. The noise from the rain hitting the roof was quieter than on the old shingle roof. I am eagerly anticipating the summer for the cooling benefit I expect to receive.

Installation of the roof was flawless. The crew was very courteous and hard working. It was obvious they were very skilled and knew what they were doing. They took the time to do it right. Please know Dave and I purchased a roof for our home from Interlock in July 2014.

The roof was installed April 2015. The roof is absolutely beautiful, the installers were amazing (our home is an arch rib so is almost all roof) with their agility and ability as they worked and walked on our roof like monkeys.

Our experience having our Interlock roof installed was exceptional. It was installed during the hottest days of the year, and none of our neighbors could believe the installers were working so hard during the hot, muggy weather. They finished several days ahead of schedule, and left the yard clean and neat, even after a complete tear-off of three layers of roofing.

One day during the installation, we had a rain storm, and the installers all took shelter in their vehicles. I noticed that we had a leak in a spot that had clearly had leaks before we bought the house. When I pointed it out to the installers, they went up the ladder in the pouring rain, found the cause of the problem (which, again, was a pre-existing problem, not one due to the Interlock installation) and fixed it on the spot. The service was exceptional.

And that’s what Interlock Lifetime Roofing Systems provided us with our roof. Craftsmanship and quality. Plus, durability, beauty, and experience from a company that manufactures and certify install its own product. That is something, a company that makes its own product, that was very important to us, and no other company in our market offered that, except Interlock.

Another thing that was important was we didn’t want to have to deal with rust because many steel metal roofs look good new but look old and hideous down the road because of fading and rusting. Interlock is aluminum. So, it won’t rust and it achieves and exceeds the highest rating of hail resistance. So, it’s like we said earlier – super durable!

Jessie and his crew were super, and hard working. We were amazed by their work ethic. That’s something that’s becoming rare nowadays.

Also, we were told by a competitor that Greg Weber and Interlock would be high pressure. That was the furthest thing from the truth. Greg was polite, personable, knowledgeable, and helped us sift through the “lesser quality, cheaper installation, sales gimmicky and overly aggressive” competitors. He provided us with a detailed range of the competition by laying out all the variables so we could make an intelligent comparison and decision. Installation was super smooth. Every installer was courteous and professional. We get lots of compliments and people stop by all the time to admire it. One of the biggest misconceptions about metal roofing is people think it’s loud. Our Interlock roof is very silent. The only way I know if it’s raining is if I look out a window. Also, the snow just slides off. We are also in a wind tunnel area and we have never lost an Interlock shingle, and we have had the roof for many years.

We were so pleased with our Interlock roof that we put the same roof on our lake home in northern Wisconsin. We get a lot more snow up there and the Interlock’s snow shedding performance capabilities are second to none on that roof, too!

Our new roof is beautiful! We have received so many compliments and inquiries since our Interlock roof was installed four weeks ago. John delivered on his promise with a quality product and set up the stage for what was to come, answering all our early questions and showing us the information we were looking for to make a confident decision. He provided us installation pictures of previous jobs, the product specifications, color and type of samples, historical data on product performance and much more. Dal from customer service responded quickly with dates when material was arriving and dates for the installation. After some concerns about having to travel for work and being out of town, Al communicated well and they worked around my travel schedule and my family appreciated this greatly.

The roof is not any louder during several of the storms we have had already, than before. Despite a few outside temperatures reaching the 80s and sunny, the inside of the house has stayed cool without needing to turn on the AC or ceiling fans. It really is a new experience to walk into our second level rooms and not have it feel warmer than the lower level.

The installation crew did a great job. They told us everything they were doing and answered all of our questions. The fire department even stopped by during installation to ask what it was! The crew completed the job in 4 days, working over the weekend to finish before the next storm. They left the yard clean every night, and they cleared out the gutters from all of the debris. After watching the team install the new roof safely, we have come to appreciate the craftsmanship that comes with installing this type of roof. The crews are proud of the product and their care shows in the installation. Putting on this new roof requires a lot of skill, a lot of hours, and experience that I think new owners won’t realize until observing them and going through it. Minimal waste scraps, efficiently making thousands of measurements and metal shaping to perfectly fit all the corners and bends is a testament to the experience our crew lead by Jesse and Sal had.

This Interlock company has been great and there have been so many people referenced here that have worked to provide us a great customer experience. To the whole team, great job and thank you. We look forward to the many years this roof will continuously perform as it was designed and the many more times we will appreciate the beauty of it.

We visited the booth Interlock had at the Remodelling Show at State Fair Park. We got a lot of excellent information there and left our number for a call-back. We did receive the call back promptly and got an appointment right away. The estimator showed up on time and thoroughly explained the process, the product choices and the costs. We signed up for a new metal roof that evening because the advantages were so many and the expense over time was not much different from regular shingles. This metal roof will probably outlive us! The actual work didn’t start for about two months because the company is very busy, but removing the old layers of shingles was the first process. This was done in a day and the waterproofing membrane went on. The roofing materials were supposed to be delivered in a couple days, which unfortunately didn’t happen.

Instead, a heavy, rainy week intervened and we did get water in our kitchen. It took a while to get someone to call me back and that was frustrating because it damaged our kitchen ceiling. Ultimately, though, I did get a call and the work was expedited to the following day. The roofers did the entire install in one day and did a great job. The roof is beautiful and we have many people stopping and looking at the wonderful work and superior materials.

I know the company will honor their promise to pay for the damage to the kitchen. Once that is done, all is well. The experience wasn’t perfect, but it was as close as mother nature and shipping glitches allowed.

Kathy and I are very pleased with our new roof. During installation, your crew was able to adapt the project around our 100-year-old chimneys and finally completely seal us against leaks. The attic fan barely comes on unless it is a very hot day. But we are no longer feeling the heat on the third floor, where all the bedrooms are. Less heat means more comfortable nights and sleep.
