Dear Peter,

We remain delighted with our new Interlock roof. It’s now been through 2 Minnesota winters, a hailstorm, and several rain deluges and is still the top-notch performer that you said it would be.

Thank you for your and Interlock’s integrity throughout the sale, installation, and service of our roofing project. We remain convinced that Interlock is indeed “the Midwest’s Best Roof”.

Sizeable discount on our homeowners' insurance because of the roof's resistance to fire

Roseville, Minnesota

5/5

Dear Peter,

Installing the Interlock roof on our home has completely transformed and improved our home’s appearance. The installation of the roof along with the greatly improved flashings have made a great difference. Because of that, our stucco was able to match our home so we look like new.

An improvement I didn’t expect was the change in temperature of our second floor. Usually unbearable hot on a 90-degree day. It’s now 10-15 degree cooler and livable.

We also received a sizeable discount on our homeowners’ insurance because of the roof’s resistance to fire.

We’re sure that having to “Never roof again” will help us sell our house should that be necessary.

Thank you from two satisfied customers.

Sincerely,
Philip and Myra T.

Enjoying the roof through the winter winds and rain and hail of the Pacific Northwest

Damascus, Oregon

5/5

To the Interlock Corporation, What can you say about a home improvement experience such as replacing the roof on your house?

From the first contact to the completion of the project it was the most enjoyable experience a person can have when dealing with a large commercial company. From the initial non-high pressure, very informative sales contact from a Home and Garden show to the friendly, efficient and respectful installers to the final personal contact to make sure we were satisfied with the results and that we were enjoying our new roof.

The application and quality of the materials are beyond expectations. We have been enjoying the roof through the winter winds and rain and hail of the Pacific Northwest. Everyone asks if it is noisy and tinny when it rains. We reply “of course not! “ It is even quieter than the comp roof we just replaced. We ordered the deep charcoal grey slate. After the rain while still wet the roof shines and glistens like real slate. It is a welcoming sight compared to the dull comp roofs of our neighbors.

Shortly after installation, there was a wedding up the road from us. We heard from a friend who attended that our roof was the hot topic of discussion since everyone had to drive by our house to reach the wedding. We get many compliments from people who drive by.

The installers, while being friendly, are very proud of their workmanship and we liked the fact that they kept referring to the roof as “their roof”. Hard working and diligent to the task, they were attentive to every detail. The best onsite reps Interlock could ever have. They were proud of the many years of service working for the company and that fact too lends itself to efficient communication and workflow. The install happened during the summer during some of the hottest days on record. The installers measured their days, coming early, resting during the hottest times and returning during the coolness of the evenings. Doing what needed to be done to get the job done.

While more expensive than traditional comp roofs up front, the fact that we never have to replace the roof during our lifetime is well worth it. This house is our forever house and the best part of our new roof is the fact that my husband will never have to climb up a ladder to clean off the moss that grows so well here in the wet but green northwest. After much investigation and consideration of other metal roofing products on the market, we highly recommend a metal roof, specifically one by Interlock.

Sincerely,

We thank you for providing such a quality product and installation which we look to receive years of permanent protection from the elements

Portland, Oregon

We thank you for providing such a quality product and installation which we look to receive years of permanent protection from the elements.  The installation process went very well with a very professional and courteous crew of installers.  Having dealt with a number of home improvements, including a kitchen and bathroom remodel, we appreciate the level of service the crew provided, especially providing very good communication with us.

If you need further follow up, please feel free to contact us.  Already we have had a number of people in the neighborhood stop when we are in the yard to inquire about the roof.  We are in a high-pedestrian traffic area, given the proximity of the business district, schools, transit, and other services. Based on our first impressions, we have told them we are pleased with how well the installation went and foresee the benefit of this roof for us.

Hopefully, our reference will guide people to inquire directly with your company.

Why This Hillsboro Homeowner Chose a Lifetime Metal Roof—and Never Looked Back

When Doubt Meets Design: A Hillsboro Story

Ben wasn’t sure.

The numbers didn’t lie. Composite shingles were cheaper, at least today. But then came tomorrow. And the next storm. And the following summer. And suddenly, the idea of “cheap” felt more expensive than it first appeared.

Hillsboro, Oregon, isn’t your typical Pacific Northwest suburb. It’s a hub of innovation just 20 miles west of Portland, flanked by the Tualatin Mountains and backed by Oregon’s tech corridor. But it’s also wrapped in the same climate complexities the region is famous for—soaking winters, warm, dry summers, and moss that grows like it pays rent. These unique climate challenges make roofing material a crucial decision for homeowners.

So when Ben thought about roofing, he wasn’t just thinking about aesthetics. He was thinking about durability, design, and doing it right the first time.

The Turning Point

Black Interlock Slate Roof: The Perfect Weather-Resistant Choice for Hillsboro Homes

Hillsboro, Oregon

5/5

Kay, a homeowner in Hillsboro, Oregon, recently enhanced her residence with a Black Interlock Slate roof, installed by Interlock Metal Roofing. Hillsboro is located approximately 60 miles from the Pacific Ocean and is nestled in the Tualatin Valley, surrounded by the Coast Range to the west and the Cascade Range to the east. This region experiences a temperate maritime climate, characterized by wet winters and dry summers, with average annual precipitation around 40 inches.

Given the area’s variable weather conditions, including potential heavy rainfall and occasional high winds, the Interlock Lifetime Roofing System was an ideal choice for Kay’s home. Its durable, weather-resistant design ensures long-lasting protection against Hillsboro’s diverse climate, providing peace of mind and reducing maintenance needs.

Kay expressed her satisfaction with the project, stating:

“Our Interlock roof was the best homeowner decision we have ever made.”

This installation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of Kay’s home but also offers reliable, weather-resistant protection, making it a perfect fit for Hillsboro’s climate.

American Waste picked up the dumpster yesterday afternoon. Santiago and his crew did a great job under really adverse conditions. The weather was cold and working conditions generally miserable, but they were troopers and did a great job – Barbara and I really appreciate their effort. We’ve had numerous comments on the Interlock slate roof – all of them extremely positive. Most are amazed at how the new roof enhances the look of a 1935 Craftsman home. Great job!

Making our house look so nice - like brand new!

Salem, Oregon

To Interlock Roofing:

We just had our house installed with a new metal roof from Interlock Roofing, and I was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience.  That is a tall order in this day and age if you have had any dealings with contractors.  The entire staff was excellent, from the first contact with Mike and Ross, who were very patient with my wife and me as we tried to pick out a color and type of roof from so many different choices.  I appreciated their gentleness and show of concern for the decision.  These two are a great team and have a lot of experience to bring to us.

The installers were excellent as well, and we asked questions of them and they took the time to answer all of our concerns with kindness and showed they were very experienced in installing roofs.  The interesting thing was ALL of the debris around the house that accumulates with a new roof, tiny pieces, large pieces, all were taken care of in the cleanup at the end and the area was spotless!  I even looked for any piece left behind, but there was none!

The end result is a beautiful roof that my wife and I are both impressed with, making our house look so nice – like brand new!  We are amazed.

Thank you all for a wonderful experience, and we look forward to a roof that will last 50 plus years, which by the way is longer than I plan on being around!  Thanks too, for being such a great group of people to work with, providing a very pleasant experience.

Sincerely,

Torrential rains and winds exceeding 50 mph

Bremerton, Washington

5/5

We had the Interlock Roof installed in November of 2015 since then we have had some torrential rains and winds exceeding 50 mph.  The roof has weathered the storms and is just as sound as the day the workers completed the installation.  We are extremely pleased with the roof and the appearance of the roof.  We are also very pleased that we chose the Interlock roof, both for the appearance and the wear ability of the product.  It is a huge relief for us to know that this is the final roof we will ever have to put on our house and that the product is backed by a lifetime warranty.

Your roofing specialists that installed the roof were very professional, considerate, and thorough in their work.  The property was cleaned and checked when the installation was complete.  They promptly addressed any concerns we had and insured we were totally satisfied prior to completing the project.  The entire crew deserves a hearty well done.

Sincerely,

It is quiet even in the worst rain storm and best of all, it will be the last roof that this house will ever need

February 14, 2016

We first learned about Interlock Roofing when researching roofing options on the internet. We became interested in a metal roof due to our constant problems with moss and fir needles. We went to the September 2015 Home and Garden Show to learn more. Interlock had a great display at the show and the representative cleared up some questions we had. We scheduled an appointment and within a week Ross and Mike came out and explained their product to us. They brought samples of the different styles and colors of their materials and thoroughly explained how their system worked. They even brought a collection of pictures from previous houses so we could decide the best look for our house. As they were measuring the roof, we watched a video on their company and all of the materials and guarantees they provide. We were impressed by their knowledge and experience.

The installation only took about three days. Vladimir and Greg, our installers, were very friendly and worked diligently. They took the time to explain what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. Their craftsmanship really shows on the finished roof! We were extremely impressed when they were waiting on one piece of flashing to be in stock and Vladimir drove all the way from Seattle to install the finishing piece. We can tell they take pride in the work.

We ended up with a beautiful roof and several people have stopped to ask about our roof. We had received many compliments on how the style complements our home. Now that we have lived with it for a few months, we are not disappointed with our choice. It looks great, there is no moss, and the fir needles rinse off with the rain. It is quiet even in the worst rain storm and best of all, it will be the last roof that this house will ever need. We will likely save energy costs this summer and will greatly reduce, or eliminate altogether, ever having to go on the roof again.

We highly recommend Interlock Roofing to anyone looking for a forever roof that looks great. All of the people that we dealt with were very knowledgeable and informative. They were easy to talk to and there was never a high-pressure sales pitch. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or talk to anyone about our very good experience.

Makes our farmhouse and garage look fabulous

Oregon City, Oregon

July 14, 2015

Our home was recently the lucky recipient of a new aluminum shingle roof by Interlock. We are sure that if our house could, it would be singing! So, my husband I and will gladly speak for it.

We cannot say enough good things about the quality of our new roof material and installation.
From the first visit with the sales team (thank you Mike and Ross) we were impressed with the professional and trustworthy service of Interlock representatives.

The whole job took place right on schedule with lots of communication all along the way. The installation crew (thank you Peter!) was hard working, intent on making sure every detail was done to perfection, considerate of our landscaping and a pleasure to have on our property.

The finished product: WOW! We love it! This new Interlock roof not only makes our farmhouse and garage look fabulous, in addition, we are so happy to know we will never scrape moss again, not to mention that we will probably never even replace our roof again!

The color and style of the shingles are so pretty and we know our home is protected from the elements like never before.

We won’t hesitate to recommend Interlock Roofing whenever we have an opportunity. This company has developed a product that really measures up to everything it advertises.

Thank you, everyone at Interlock. We loved doing business with you!

One hundred-year-old house

Oregon City, Oregon

5/5

We would like to thank Interlock Roofing for the excellent product and service we received when replacing our roof.

We began work on our one-hundred-year-old house many years ago and thought that we had always hired competent contractors to complete work that we did not do ourselves. However, when replacing the original tongue and groove eaves last summer we discovered that our seventeen-year-old composition roof was failing due to poor installation. A relatively small project became a much larger undertaking. Since we live in an area where we have a stand of trees behind us and considerable shade, moss has always been a concern. In an effort to avoid any more issues with a roof, I began researching various alternatives.

Then I found Interlock Roofing! I learned more about roofing in a short amount of time than I had to talk with several other suppliers. All my questions were answered and my concerns addressed. Communication between the sales department and the installation department was top notch. The crew arrived when scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. After we considered the job complete, we discovered a small problem. That too was addressed quickly and without question. If we were to need another roof we would hire Interlock Roofing again. But the excellent warranty makes that an improbability.

We heartily recommend Interlock Roofing to anyone.

If you're thinking about a metal roof, give Interlock a serious thought

5/5

We had already decided on a metal roof when we came across Interlock. It was one of those things where we were looking for a product with a quality standard that could match up to what we wanted.

I’ll say this, Interlock works a bit differently from most of the roofing people we talked to. You’re going to talk to a sales person at your home visit, but don’t let that put you off. They’re knowledgeable and if you haven’t done your research, there will be some great information in the whole thing that’s really worth soaking up. Anyway, we were satisfied with the quality of the product in hand and decided to go ahead and go with Interlock.

The install was delayed by a week due to some shipping issues, but that was really the beginning and end of the troubles. The Interlock folks let me know what was going on and when they’d have it sorted. All fine by me. It’s a lifetime roof, I’m not too upset if it takes an extra week to put it on. As I understand it, mine was a bit of a one-off problem anyway.

The roofers were professional, quick, and thorough. Great people who worked quickly, cleanly, and the cleanup at the end of the day was nigh on amazing. Apparently the shipping issues on my initial order led to the final install of a very few pieces being delayed a few days, but before I knew it they were back out and finishing the job. Along they way they kept me updated on anything I needed to know.

The finished product is the real question, I guess. And man, let me tell you. We’re more than happy with how it looks on the house. It’s especially crazy knowing that something that looks that good is going to last. You see standing-seam metal roofs all over and even with these you sort of wonder how “metal” the Interlock system is going to look. It looks great. Seriously, even right in the driveway it’s hard to tell it’s not either a slate or colored shingle roof. It’s really beautiful and it’s going to be there without the need for constant maintenance for a long, long time. That really makes the cost worth it.

If you’re thinking about a metal roof, give Interlock a serious thought. The sticker price might make you jump a little in some areas than others, but now that it’s on the house I am happy we decided to go that way. It’s beautiful, it’s going to last a good long time, and there’s a certain confidence I get from knowing I’ll be dealing with the people who make it if there’s a problem.

Sincerely,

Plaguing issue of a moss growth problem

5/5

Dear Interlock Industries,

We knew that someday we would need a new roof.  We had been considering various roofing materials as we have a concern about a plaguing issue of a moss growth problem as a result of fir needle build up.  We had to go on the our roof at least one to two times and sometimes more often a month to blow off the roof as the needles would collect everywhere and build up in the roof valleys; plus the additional time necessary to remove the moss.  We spent way too much time on the roof.

We happened to see the Interlock aluminum roof system and after speaking with staff and our friends and doing some research, we made the decision to have your roof system installed this past fall.  We want to let you know that we are happy with the product as well as the style we selected.  We had the deep charcoal grey slate profile installed on our traditional style home.  It looks great!  Many of the neighbors have commented on how nice it looks.  They first thought it would be too commercial looking, but once they saw the end product they were impressed.

All the staff from Robin at the Clark County Fair exhibitors’ booth, Mike Rasmussen, Divisional Sales Manager, as well the roof installers were very professional and good in explaining the product, what was involved in the installation, as well as being responsive and open to addressing our questions, comments and concerns.

Once the product was ready to be delivered the installation date was confirmed.  The installers arrived early on that date and started in on the job.  They were diligent on the installation. They did clean up at the end of each day.  They were open and encouraged questions and any comments we had.  If there was something we noticed that was not quite right they would check and correct.  They were as concerned as we were about a quality job done right.

The roof does well as the valleys do not collect needles anymore.  The only concern/complaint is that the needles do get caught in the interlock sections particularly when it is raining and windy making it difficult to remove them.  We have had a lot of rain since the roof was installed so we have not had a chance to really remove the needles.  Hopefully once the roof and needles dry out; it will be easier to remove them.

But it does appear that we will not have to go on the roof nearly as much as in the past.

Sincerely,
Miguel and Linda C.

There is no more noise than there was with my old shingle roof

5/5

Please consider this my letter of testimony regarding the installation of my beautiful Musket Grey Slate roof!

From the beginning of this “roof project”, all of my conversations with Meg and Claudette were friendly and my questions were answered by these pleasant and knowledgeable ladies. Since I had already seen a presentation with a neighbor, Mike Rasmussen was able to save us both some time as I was very ready to get my leaky roof replaced! He thoroughly explained how the aluminum fits together and assured me the trained installers really did know what they were doing!

Rolland called to let me know when he would be delivering the materials. He was right on time – even with snow and icy roads to contend with! He very neatly placed boxed materials next to the garage and then covered everything with a tarp to keep it dry. I was concerned with his and the installers’ safety during those unusual winter weather conditions but both Rolland and Peter seemed to take it in stride. Peter was very efficient and explained how things worked and answered my questions that I didn’t know I had until I watched how fast yet carefully he worked. Mike was right – Peter was quick and there was very little wasted material when he had completed everything! As it turned out, Peter was the only installer and he wasted NO TIME removing the chimney, getting my skylight replaced and the roof was done in only two days!! It was unusually COLD in Oregon those days; January 7th and 8th. He worked well into the dark evening hours on both nights, which I thought was above and beyond the call of duty. He carefully cleaned up after himself before he left.

As you see, I am very impressed with my new roof. At one point, I was concerned that the aluminum may be “noisy”, however, with the amount of hard rain we have had, there is no more noise than there was with my old shingle roof. Again, I am impressed. My son is thrilled that he will never have to get up and toss laundry soap around on the roof to kill the moss! Just today, a gentleman stopped to chat about my roof as he’d noticed the sign in my yard. I happened to be outside for a few minutes and was happy to share my very pleasant experience with him. Neighbors have stopped to look at the sign and check out the roof on their walks.

Enclosed are pictures of my “roof project”. Strangers would not know there ever was a chimney on the house. Peter was very careful removing the bricks which I appreciated since the new Leaf Guard system was recently installed. I thank you all for your help with updating my house. Please feel free to call me at 503-xxx-xxxx if you would like further comments.

Sincerely,
