The roof placed on our home by Interlock Roofing leaks because the siding was bad on one side of the roof and Interlock Roofing did not inform me while they were replacing the roof. We were given information on how other roofs are put together, so it was an easy decision because of how Interlock Roofing roofs are designed. I work with a background in construction, and the only thing I would advise is that during the build they take photos of the progress and assemble a closeout package that way the homeowner has something to look back on to reference and if they sell the house they can transfer that as part of the warranty for the new owner.

The flashing was buckled and caused rain to pour in from the north side of the house, coming in through the pot lights in my downstairs family room. This was after having to re-roof the place with asphalt shingles twice in five years. We now watch our neighbor's shingles flip up with the wind while ours lie flat and snug. I prefer this comment to not be shared publicly, but they need to know how to address diverters on a roof hip, and they didn't know how to do that. The roof hip is not that uncommon of an archaeological feature, and they really struggled with that problem. They need to have a company solution for roof hips, which are a common archaeological feature of many houses. They installed well, and it all went well.
