When the time came to plan the start of the job with Paul McIntyre, he insisted the roof be stripped before they schedule the start. I was trying to be proactive by suggesting he apply for the building permit now so we can pull the trigger when a decent weather window appeared. About a week later (on a Wed?) I get a call from Jen saying they will start the following Monday. I strip the rood over the weekend and on Monday the install crew shows up and tells me the building permit that they applied for on Thursday will be delayed. (it took two weeks). As it became apparent how long the permit may take, the install crew suggested putting down the underlayment. Made a lot of sense to me but again, the install coordinator (Paul McIntyre?) said no for liability reasons. Thanks for nothing!!! If he had applied for the permit as requested on our first conversation, I would not be in this situation.”
