There were a few months where I didn't have a direct contact to check in for materials during the timeframe of the project because I had a couple of projects going on at the same time with the solar panels being installed. It all worked out, but I think that would be an area to improve in. It looks beautiful, and I love it!

At one time they were supposed to show up on a Tuesday, then said Wednesday, then it was 3 weeks after that when they showed up. There is horrible communication between the installation people, that call to let you know, and the regional installation manager. They could have improved on their communication with the customer and given a realistic starting date. They used weather related issues for the reason for the delays and there were no weather issues in our area, that is for sure. Greg Weber, our sales representative, told us an Interlock Roof was more energy efficient than asphalt, and one of the major things we noticed over the years is how much cooler our home office upstairs is in the summertime.

After a snowfall, the heat of the sun will warm the roof and allow the snow to shed from the roof. We have a great sense of security, knowing it can withstand higher winds than conventional asphalt.

The estimator showed up on time and thoroughly explained the process, the product choices and the costs.
