Upon looking at our roof with several consultations from local roofing companies, the consensus was that we had only one to two years left on a roof that was only nine years old. The shingles that were installed on our home were prey to the era of bad shingles that have been installed on several homes across our development. My wife and I, after several conversations, decided to ask Interlock Industries for a consultation. We met with Mr. Gerry Matta who was very professional and upfront with us about your roofing product; moreover was very detailed about the installation process and warranties your company offered. He made the decision process to seek the services from your company a no-brainer. We decided to install a red " data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">tile roof from your many choices. On October 12, 2004, your roofing installers showed up right on schedule. I must say that I have never seen a more professional crew in my twenty-plus years in the construction business. I was not aware that your gentlemen had a speech and hearing disability that took me for a short surprise. There were no difficulties in communications at all. I will add that these guys were the best and when I plan to add on to our home, I would like to have this crew do the roof for the future addition. The roof looks wonderful, and when the job was finished, I was never able to tell that the crew was ever here. They left our property spotless and clean. I would like to finish with a compliment to Interlock Industries for hiring people with disabilities and that you recognize their value to your company. I will also add that your roofing system looks wonderful and has already raised eyebrows in my neighborhood. This past Fall I began soliciting bids for stripping off two layers of shingles on my 23-year old shingle family home and replacing the "worn" shingles with a new layer of fiberglass shingle. You may ask, since the home was "only" 23 years old, why there was already two layers of shingles and how come the top layer was now in need of replacement! Believe me, I was asking the same questions. Granted, we had not paid (directly) for either layer of shingle since they both were on the home when we purchased it, but it was still a concern of mine with respect to the fiberglass shingle industry. My wife and I have owned this home for nine years and, when we initially moved in, we had the home vinyl-sided and replaced most of the windows with energy efficient, up-and-down windows as opposed to the then crank-out windows. The then existing roof shingles had excellent curl-appeal when viewed against the newly installed vinyl siding and window shutters, so much so that passersby thought we had the roof re-shingled as well. So, in our search for new shingle, we sought out a shingle that would have that same curb appeal as well as longevity. Well, we could not find anything that came close to providing us with the idea that, "Yeah, this one will look great on our home and last a long time." This Spring I responded to a newspaper advertisement I'd seen and a mailing that I received regarding the installation of a ">metal roof.
