I think they could have improved on communication. I had to get in touch with my representative a few times before he got back with me to let me know when they were going to be out to do my roof. I had one problem, when they sent my contract they sent an addressed envelope to send it back to them. I couldn't use the envelope because it was only for use in Ontario, and I live in Nova Scotia.It took me almost $20.00 to send that back to them. “When they were installing the vent section of the roof at final finish, the boards on my roof are 6 inch tongue and groove boards. There is a continuous vent along the roof, when they were capping it they shattered some of the boards. When I went into the attic yesterday I noticed there was a chunk of board lying in my attic that they knocked off. There were several other pieces that were shattered, as well as some of the nails were just put through the existing shingles because there was no longer any bored left in that area. I took some pictures of the boards toward the end of the job. They were using their shingle hatchets and driving in an inch and a half aluminum nails and the power of that was shattering the boards. I would like for someone to come out and verify that my roof is ok. I have pictures that I could send to them, and they can take a look. It might involve removing the cap and putting new boards in, if they're going to make good on it, it's fine.”
