The literature and brochures should state that the installation may cause damage. The customer has to decide if they want to risk it or not. They should do more paint touch up as they go. We would have not gone with them if we had known the roof would like it does. I am not happy with the results. It looks great from a distance but up close it's got visible scratches, dents, and paint chips.
