The entire project took a lot longer than I was told. Our satisfaction guarantee came in the form of a cheque in the mail for our full deposit thereby severing all ties between us and Inter-lock. It would have been nice if we would have received some actual acknowledgement that the contract had been canceled. But, we do appreciate receiving the full deposit back.

The Salesman did NOT have a proper colour sample of the product to be installed and it ended up being quite darker than initially anticipated.It would have looked way better in a lighter colour.

Review: January 9, 2015 Completion: December 8, 2014The boys did such a good job that we cannot think of anything to improve on! After the roof was on for a few days, we got a good dump of snow. On the front deck, our eaves trough has a leaf guard which ends up piling up the snow and eventually sliding the snow over the eaves trough and onto the deck. We will have to see if we can remove the leave guard in the winter and keep the roof part swept off so that it doesn't build up. Everywhere else is not giving us a problem. Bob and Alanna Seleski

Interlock Roofing is also a very expensive system and I am also still waiting for warranty documents. Interlock Roofing could improve by using licensed roofers within the state where the roof is installed. They wanted us to pay when the job was done and unfortunately it was dark in the morning when we left and dark when we got home, so we were not prepared to pay at the time, because we wanted to be sure that the job was done correctly. I just felt like they wanted the payment too quickly after completion. We will be paying that this week though.

It takes time to see if there might be a problem but from what I can tell I am very happy with it. The installers were very good about not messing up my yard and that they were hard working people. I even wrote a letter telling the company about how great the installers were.

Review: January 7, 2015 Completion: November 12, 2014They could have done what I asked for. It was simple. The previous roof had nails sticking through it. They used screws, so the same problem would not happen, but did not take out the existing nails. I think they were in too much of a hurry to get the job done. One of my plants was messed up in the process. When the weather was very cold there was a lot of banging because of the expansion and contraction of the metal. I did not know this would happen. It woke me up several times.

My wife and I are extremely happy with the roof. It is gorgeous. Everything was terrific. I am very pleased with everything about the roof. It was a lot of money, but I feel in my heart that it was worth it. I don't understand why people still use shingles, and the metal roof amazes me. I think you will see a lot more of them in the future once people catch on.
