I was disappointed because I felt the replacement roof was not up to the standard of the aluminum roof that I originally had.

I had another roofer prepare the roof deck and put high temp ice & water shield over my whole roof deck ahead of time - a requirement because of my solar panels. So, if it's worth it to have ice & water shield, it's worth doing it right.
